Will it be obvious to tell if someone else has removed the battery cover before? Like the battery cover will be easier to detach after the adhesive has been cut before.

IMPORTANT! !REMOVE the sim tray FIRST (this should be mentioned at the very beginning!) 1. The middle screw under the cam is covered with a small sticker. 2. While having the phone disassembled (it would be a good idea to:) I also cleaned and reapplied new thermal paste on the same 2 spots. 3. The reassembly needs a bit of careful attention as the board goes slightly in and under its frame and the front cam needs a bit of fiddling to "snap" in its place. Most difficult parts: 1. Heating enough to start lifting the back cover. 2. Re-attaching the antenna to the board connector. 3. Clearing the adhesive from the back cover before attaching the new one.

Wit Rigs Thanks! I'll be sure to look out for them. However may I ask have you triggered them in your water test? It seemed like no moisture has seeped into the phone from the looks of it, when placed in relatively shallow water.

No, they are not triggered, they remain white.
