as a 10+ years huawei user I recently bought a cheap motorola phone with the idea to preserve my 3y old p50 pro's battery and use it as a camera when I want. I am waiting for a release that I'd be absolutely happy to buy and replace my p50 pro with in the next year or so. And I gotta say this "clean" software experience that most reviewers bang on about is pretty overrated. Even with huawei's limitations in the west EMUI has been and still is so much better at everything. I assume the motorola skin is pretty close to pixels and such baring some brand specific differences and jumping in it from EMUI feels like going back years. I am already thinking which relative will need a new phone in the next few months so I can give them the motorola and get if not a huawei, at least an honor. I mean it's not as terrible as samsung's software, I did try to do this same thing with an a55 a few months ago but I only managed to tolerate it for a day before selling it. Still, could be worse 🍏...

I use Huawei devices (Mate X3, Matepad 11.5S and GT3 watch) alongside Apple (MB Air, Mini, 15 Pro, iPad Air, watch Ultra2) and have managed to integrate the 2 worlds very well, e.g. being able to sync calendar events, tasks, notes, media etc. by using apps like any.do (great and free!), Google Cal, Google photos. The only pain for me, is updating apps on Huawei and Huawei not updating their OS regularly, except on new devices. PS - the HarmonyOS ecosystem is excellent, at least comparable to Apple.

I would buy this from you but despite following your microg installation to the letter I can't get the KZbin, Google Photos etc to open once downloaded. It just says won't run without Google Play Services which I installed :(

I'm glad you could get notifications and Google. Just wish it could emulate games for Nintendo switch. The US put those stupid sanctions and now Huawei has to make their own processes that are not powerful enough for what I need otherwise I would be buying

@Rodge07 no not at all, it's just a good place to buy Chinese phones which are very difficult to get hold of, I bought my Global VIVO X200 Pro from Average Dad Store, and I'm on VIVO groups where people are asking me where did I get the global version from because they're not yet available in the EU UK etc, so I'm trying to help those who like myself want to get hold of the Global edition VIVO X200 Pro. As much as i like huawei devices they are on crack charging basically double what an x fold 3, magic v3 or mix fold 4 would cost. considering their outdated chip tech and other issues they should be charging less not double.

Other than the thickness and outdated chip, Huawei Mate X6 is by far the best foldable phone and it doesn't cost double. The next best is Magic V3 which is much thinner.

@handsomejustin it.does cost double...around 2k for the honor and over 4k for Huawei. It's ridiculous, sure if argue the Huawei is a better device overall as their build quality is the best but that does not justify that kind of outrageous pricing.
