@@alwa4347 Would go for Samsung, being able to use different EMR styluses which are generally cheaper is a huge plus in my book. Hoping the future Samsung Tab lines remain like this.

Hello ! thank you for your very interesting and comprehensive reviews. I'd like to ask you for some advice. I'm hesitating between several versions of the Matepaper. I work a lot on my computer. The main advantage of this tablet is that it's as comfortable as a reading device, which you can also write on. I need a tablet where I can read, write and take notes. Of course, I've done a review of e-readers, but for the price, it's more interesting to go for a tablet. I'm interested in the ability to sketch, to get back in touch with drawing. I'm wondering which version to buy. I'm hesitating between the 10.4 or 11" version (for ease of use) or the 11.5" version (11.5 "S may be too powerful for my needs). if you can spare a moment to help me with my decision, i'd be very grateful. cordially

Display quality looks good to me. Quite similar to a typical matte LCD display.

Not likely. Just watch 04:57 for the user experience which is what you can expect with that tablet. As for hardware, you can just read Huawei product page.

I have disabled input for BT keyboard so that I can use virtual keyboard when I hold tablet. Then when I need BT keyboard again I have to enable. This is not like Apple or Samsung where it is smart enough to know when I want to hold tablet and use virtual keyboard

4:57 This really helped me, I was looking between the Huawei Matepad 11.5 and the Xiaomi Pad 6. I didn't realize how much of a hassle the Matepad would be in terms of lack of Google services. For me the Xiaomi Pad 6 is the obvious choice.

I personally think Huawei hardware is great, on par with Samsung and Apple at the top. But not many people know what the lack of Google Play Store actually means. And even if you can install Google Play Store, you may not be able to restore past purchases, or even sign in to some apps. Do you know that? I don't want my viewers to buy something and then find out that something app does not work, especially if they are coming from a non-Huawei tablet.

Because mine's the 2023 version with HarmonyOS 3. GoPaint requires HarmonyOS 4. Anyway, I prefer using drawing apps that run on all platforms and tablets from other brands so it is very unlikely for me to use GoPaint.

The best pen is the one advertised by the company. If the company does not advertise official pen support, the pens you can use are the rubber tip or disc tip pens and they are not good.

There are other tablets with straighter diagonal lines. Samsung tablets with S Pen support and Xiaomi tablets with Xiaomi Focus Pen

No. That's only available on HarmonyOS 4 and this tablet I have only has HarmonyOS 3. Anyway, I prefer to use apps that can run on different brands of tablets so that I won't be locked to buying only Huawei tablets.

I don't know unfortunately. The HarmonyOS 3.1 on my tablet doesn't run GoPaint (needs HarmonyOS 4). But I would not use GoPaint even if it's excellent because I prefer apps that run on all tablets regardless of brand. I don't want my artworks to be locked to a specific tablet brand.

The hardware is good. Huawei mid and premium-level tablets always have good hardware. But that's just hardware.
