Just fixed mine according to this step by step video. I must point out couple of errors though: 1. When reassembling, the top circuit board screws are not in correct places. As a result some screws do not fit into sockets or they are loose. I advise you to take a photo of the device once the cover is off. 2. When reassembling, the instructor starts placing the cover from the righthand side of the device (side without buttons), which is WRONG. If you do so, the probability of the buttons getting stuck is quite high. So, case should be fitted, starting from the side with the buttons.

Hi, how do you remove the volume/on sensor from the old frame?. Mine seems to be glued and is impossible to remove. TIA

If you look at 5:40 it shows how I remove it. If your home button is stuck please heat that area for few minutes. It will soften the glue underneath and it will be easy to remove it.

I might have mist something out but how are you going to get the battery out next time you din't put the stickers of the battery (that you pull on ...orange and white ) back. Thanks

The reason I didn't put the new sticker becasue I didn't damage the existing sticker. If you damage it in that case you can out double sided tape of sticker. Thanks

Sorry the front glass by itself doesn't come. It comes with the LCD.

Hey RekoverTec, my volume sensor/piece after reinstalling only works the volume up. Volume down and power not working. I'm afraid it could be damaged. Any tips? I searched on the internet to power on my mobile without that button but seems unilkely :/

@@wiseguytr I solved it meanwhile. It was the sensor button that got damaged. I ordered a new one and installed. Working just fine! ;)

There are 2 types on Aliexpress (with and without frame), I don't know which one I should buy?

get the one with the frame. it will be easy to repalce it and you dont need to gle that.

I fix TWO p smart 2019. All 2 phones have the same problem! Proximity sensor not work after fix of display. WHY??????????? i mount proximity sensor very well...but not work!!!! who can help me?

While u make a call please push and hold the screen next to where the proximity sensor is (dont block the sensor) and see whether it works or not?

HI, is it true that the screen has to be replaced along with the battery? I have 3 week old phone and dropped it. When I went for a repair shop they told me they have to replace the screen along with the battery. I was thinking, how is that possible? Bcs the battery is just fine...

You dont have to change the battery if there isnt anything wrong with it. Some shops are not professional enough to remove the battery without damaging it so they prefer to replace it with the new one.

@@recovertec1759 Did you heat before pulling out the battery? It looks so easy but in other videos they pull and draw and it seems to be stuck very heavy and the battery bends a little. Is there a trick - maybe to pull fast?

@@marcusmuellerhandy if you have noticed the orange sticker on the battery. It tells you how to remove the battery. You dont have to heat it and it's quite easy to remove. If the battery was replaced before you have to heat it becasue whoever replaced the battery might have added adhesive underneath.

You can buy it on aliexpress. We bought for 28 euros. Just screen with frame. And tools for it, it is about 10 euros.

That's probably correct, think about the experience to know how to do this, plus the tools, plus the time, this video is sped up so it probably took close to an hour, £80 including parts would be about right
