Hello friends, can you tell me what liquid you use to remove the screen... Thank you I'm trying to change the screen on HUAWEI P20 but I can't peel it off, I'm a heater but even then I'm sure it's going to need that liquid... Greetings from Croatia 🇭🇷

I changed to Huawei p20pro without removing the display!!! Everything works fine. That is, I turned off the phone, removed the phone cover, unscrewed all the lower screws, disconnected the cables and wires at the bottom, lifted the type-c from the socket. Next (if you look at the disassembled part), I lifted the right part carefully on the wires to get to the left. I heated the entire large left part with a hair dryer (there is a speaker there) and took it off entirely, it is glued, including its contacts on the right of the left part))) A beautiful view opens))) Next, carefully lift the small gray bar of the loop chip from the free side of the mother and the loop is released from it. You heat the sensor with a hairdryer from the outside for half a minute and peel it off, pushing the metal part visible from the inside out of the screen. Also, the glued loop itself is also heated from the inside with a hairdryer and carefully peel off the whole, after which we throw out the sensor with the loop, not paying attention to the safety of the oldest sensor Insert the loop of the new sensor !from the inside! under the bar of the phone case located in front of the chip. We insert the loop into the chip to the end and slam the chip bar. It is advisable to check the sensor operation by turning on the phone, then turn it off again. We push the connected sensor out through the native hole. We try on the sensor from the outside, hold it in its native place. to eliminate unnecessary sticking of the loop. With tweezers, slowly and without injuring the loop, we push the bend of the new loop under the base of the phone case in the left part. As an example, the bend of the old train. It will come, most importantly, do not rush and do not overly wring the train itself. Next, we apply glue B7000 or T7000 from the OUTSIDE along the perimeter of the sensor hole and after 20 seconds we apply it flush with the display. Remove the remaining glue with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol. If desired, you can drop a little bit under the diagram of the loop itself with glue b7000. Assembly in reverse order)

Legend, it is possible without removing the screen. But super tricky, just done it myself took over an hour and it was fiddly as anything, didn't understand the train metaphor, but otherwise good description, thanks!

Thank you for the video. In Denmark three repair shops gave me quotes between 170 and 230 euros + bs why the screen need to be replaced too. With your video 18 euros in spares + 2hrs work and good as new.
