Thanks for the guide. I managed to change the charging connector and now the phone has a new life. A quick suggestion for the ones who tries for the first time: in my case the productor put a lot of glue, especially in the lower part of the phone. I didn't warm it before the removal of the back cover, causing it to break. Not a big deal since you can find a new back cover for a cheap price, but still, try to avoid this problem heating the back of the phone before proceding.

Yep, mine started playing up after a year or so. I've asked various mobile company employees if it's a known issue but they all say no. Anyhow, mine has completely lost the ability to fast charge, can only charge when the charger is jimmied at a certain angle and headphones won't stay connected, they just fall out. Luckily I'm up for upgrade in a month. Looking at the P30 pro but want to know if this issue has been sorted.

@@redbloodytape well... I have a P20 Pro and I have the same issue. I have the phone for nearly 2 years. It's charging, headphones are working but the USB Type C connector seems loose. I tried to clean it using some compressed air and a toothpick and actually managed to solve the problem.

@@cosminc4355 yes I did that too and got it working again. I went for the Note as a replacement in the end and the same thing is happening. A blow and toothpick later and it's fine. Seems a design flaw with these types of ports and nothing to do with phone build quality.

Sehr gutes Video! Ich hab jetzt genau das gleiche mit meinen P20pro gemacht. Habe das Antennenkabel, die Ladebuchse und den Akku gewechselt. Hat auch alles funktioniert, nur jetzt hab ich das Problem das mein Handy wenn der Akku zwischen 40%-60% ist einfach aus geht dann wieder hochfährt und nach ca einer Minute wieder einfach aus geht und dann wieder normal hochfährt allerdings ist mein Akkustand nur noch 3%! Kann man was das machen? Das Handy läuft bis zu den erwähnten ca 40%-60% Akkustand ganz normal und dann geht's wie erwähnt ganz plötzlich aus.
