I like to play mobile games quite often than I do console because of it's mobility and flexibility...not having the audio jack will force me to buy wireless earpieces which are famous for it's high latency sound output and I just don't want that. and to charge it even more annoying....I like to have lesser devices that needed to be charged rather than adding more so definitely will go for the standard P30.

I'd rather the P30 over the P30 pro. Its got a headphone jack which I use on my P10 ALL the time, and I don't use/care about wireless charging at all. Also probs never gonna use 50x any time soon and the cameras are still great on the regular P30. That being said, my P10 is still as fast (if not faster) as to when I first got it, so gonna keep it til the end of the year before deciding to switch

The HUAWEI P30 Pro comes with a headphone with USB-C connector and a 3.5mm to USB-C headphone adapter in the box to make up for having no headphone jack. So you can still use wired headphones, earbuds or Bluetooth. Knowing this, the Pro takes an automatic win for me! :)

The main difference isn't the wireless charger. It's the 5x optic zoom vs 3x optic zoom, and curved edged display vs flat display (which you forget to mention). And btw, I much doubt the P30 have the same periscope len as P30Pro. It's likely the same as Mate20 and to do 3x with the tele-len. The 2x zoom isn't purely otpical, more likely a backward "hybrid" from the 3x tele-cam and the main cam.

1) Depends on on the budget, pay for P30 pro additional USD 200+ is a lot of money in other countries. 2) If it is a normal user without doing a lot of photography a P30 is good enough. Photo in P30 looks good also. Others specifications also sufficient 3) P30 pro for those have budget and slightly higher expectations. Both also good.

Down to 42% battery on my first charge on the P30. SoT 6h 7m with 54% of total battery use. Just wow. The phone is really nice as well. Coming from Nexus 6p which got 5h SoT at best, so this is a real step up. Sits very well in my hand, and one handed use is much more comfortable than the bigger 6p. Can recommend!

I just switched over from a Galaxy 8+ today to a P30 and after 10 hours of regular life with it I feel like it was a smoothe transition. Lots of cool options. Fast and beautiful screen. Camera is much better.....by a long shot. I was going to get the P30 pro but I only wanted it for size really and that it was the " better phone " and it does have wireless capability but no headphone jack...i primary use wireless Jaybirds but I also forget to charge them often and therefore found have the headphone jack was move important than a bit of size and wireless charging. 10 hours after purchase I have no regrets!

I saw both these phones today for the first time and did think I'd be going for the PRO but then I noticed the curved edge on the PRO and I new straight away I would go for the standard P30 instead. I just totally dislike curve edge screens and I also hate how so many new phones nowadays, like the PRO, have such narrow but tall bodies. Bring back wide screen phones like the old Galaxy S2, at least with the standard P30 it's not as bad as the PRO. Headphone jack is a absolute bonus!

I have p30 4 months now and i am REALLY happy with it. It runs good, there is no lags, no scratches, no nothing. Best phone i have ever had. I recomend buying it.

@@nassim99345 i bought it brand new. Battery is really good. With some gaming it can last a day, but it depends on what mode you are using, perfomance mode, power saving mode or ultra saving mode. In my country i bought it for 499. And there are no lags so i would say its worth it

As for wireless charging feature, you would have to pay additionally for the charging unit as well. Also, the speed of the wireless charging should not be as fast compared with the power brick. I am not a big fan of curve edge display. The missing of headphone jack. So, I will go for P30.
