The features of photography on Huawei's camera is far better than Mi9 stocks. Unless u install gcam. Interestingly, p30 here in Turkey is cheaper (4.700TRL) than mi 9 (5.200TRL). So I naturally went for p30 because of its amazing photography abilities and incredible design plus its cheaper price. I am so happy with the device now. I hope the problem with Google is solved soon. Thanks for the video.

mi9 will have DC dimming in the future while P30 hasn't so that's a plus. One thing that prevents me from having the Mi9 was how Xiaomi never really cared about the Audio side of things, 3.5mm jack still matters to me but Xiaomi ditched it. Also P30 has a USB 3.1 type C which can be extended with lots of accessory, this would allow the P30 pro to harness the SoC's speed in Desktop mode or by just simply doing a fast data transfer. Mi series were still stuck in USB 2.0 it's like having a flagship SoC being being underutilized by its surrounding I/O, this is one of the main reason why P30 would always be better than the Mi9.

@@doriaandria9701 Having a desktop mode feature is more of a proper use of the SoC than it being negative. Also, if you have USB type C cable, I don't see the point of it not being able to utilize USB 3.1 speed, it is still within the standard available for type-C.

Even on the wireless mode, it's not using "remote desktop" it's using display projection through WiFi (Miracast maybe) but it is far from the concept of cloud PC nor remote Desktop.

I got my own Mi 9 recently and its been great loved it. i was about to go with P30 because of its camera but I changed my mind because of its chipset. i mean its not bad but sooner or later it will get outdated easily. and Mi 9 is just a cheap killer so slick and smooth im loving it. also ive been gaming a lot lately with this phone and i can say that the battery is not bad specially when this charges so quickly. also when gaming it almost doesnt feel like it is heating up even for a quite long period of time on demanding games.

I got the P30. I support the P30. It come with a better design: - Rather flat and balance at the edge => easier to hold - Second smallest size in the market => easier to hold & carry (the first position belongs to 5.8" phones such as S10e and Iphone X, XS, 11 Pro - Has headphone jack The Kirin 9820 might not be as powerful as the Snapdragon 855, but it also possesses the 7nm process, so not far behind. Beside, it all comes down to personal preference. If you would like the best experience in top games, then according to this video, you should choose the Mi 9. Otherwise, for normal games and daily experience, the P30 is more than enough.

Guys, if we look into performance yeah mi 9 is leading but if we look into value of SAR? mi 9 has 1.39 w/kg , p30 has only 0.33 w/kg which causes to headache and so many sickness. So because of that, I think I'm going to choose P30. Another thing is search about this sicknesses boys, there is not too much differences between these 2 phones, dont live like a radiation barrel..

I've never seen a single review that makes the P30 seem better than any other mobile phone.... I still bought it ( for 330$ second hand) and I actually like it with all controversy around it. I don't play games on it but I have to say I really wish it had better video stabilization when filming or 4K at 60fps.... the camera is way better than on my old P20lite .

Mi9 more powerful. You're not getting that much more in terms of camera. My first gen pixel takes better still photos than p30. Mi9 even has better video. The only drawback is the night mode but nothing you can't fix with a gcam mod. And the mi9 screen is samsung amoled with more punchy colors than the p-oled of p30.

His screen on time for P30 was bollocks add another 2 hours on to it also in general use it last at least 2 days plus I mean I use at least 6 hours with Bluetooth headphones streaming music via Internet and using GPS tracking my route and still come home with 80% battery life

Hello Chris! Yes I'm from Malaysia actually. 1. Yes - both running China ROMs but you should be able to get the Global version as both these devices have been released internationally. 2. Get the global version. You can install Play Store here easily but the global version should be more stable IMO. 3. I am not able to test out Netflix because that's banned here in China. Sorry! From my experience, I'll say be careful buying some of these Chinese phones because if your phone stop working it's still in the one year warranty it's they find every reason not to replace the phone. That's what umidigi did to me after 3 months my phone stop working.
