I have a p40 pro and my screen was just replaced yesterday by huawei service center. Thankfully it was still under warranty so i didn't have to pay anything. Damn i did not know the process of replacing it was very complicated. Now I appreciate the tech guy.

Both phones are almost identical. Just some changes in the camera. Never tried it. You can give it a shot

Well if you are replacing the screen with frame, you need to strip all the parts from broken frame. But not everything as per teardown, for example, some parts, like camera can keep it in the logic board and transfer to the new one.

Well if you are going to give it to the service center, i think they are doing the repair with the frame. I mean you can easily go without the frame as well, since they handle the repair.

An original screen about $120-150..you should use original otherwise your touch id will not work..
