Huawei P40 Pro vs. Huawei P30 Pro : The Battle of the Cameras

I put my two phones, the new Huawei P40 Pro and its older brother Huawei P30 Pro, to a camera duel. Here you will see the photos taken from each phone, side by side. Which one do you think is better?
About me:
PHOTOgioRAPHY. At first, the term was coined just to have a moniker to use as a watermark for my photos. It was an advice by some of my friends in order to avoid having my photos stolen by someone else (photograbbing). Every time I share or post my photos online through my social media accounts, they are marked. Until, one day I blindly decided to launch this blog and named it PHOTOgioRAPHY. The term is a play on words Photography and Gio.
Gio is my nickname. You can also call me Jun-jun, my other nickname. That’s what my parents call me. Other people also call me Jovanne, my legal first name. It is pronounced in two ways: /jōvan/ and /jōvanē/
I am an only child, but I claim that I am not spoiled nor a brat when I was a kid. I was born and raised in Bohol, Philippines.

Fantastic review on these 2 phone cameras! I own both Huawei p20 and p20pro and both are still great! I'm getting Huawei p30pro next week and soon after the p40pro because I love doing Astrophotography and the p20 and P20pro are fantastic for that! How does Huawei p30pro compare to p40pro for astrophotography? Which one does it better? Huawei phone cameras are the Godzilla of cameras as Huawei knows how to make them better than the rest! Long live Huawei!!!

very good attempt.. i think the p40 picture quality improve as it gets more software updates. But even as of now, it feels better than p30 pro. my device is stuck at customs, and hopefully it should be with me in 2, 3 days. excited to move to p40 pro.

Dear Sir, at 3m 40s into this video, this soil = dirt on the ground, well the Color's are totally different between both phones, which dirt / soil is more accurate to what you seen.

I would say somewhere in between... But P30's color is closer but it is quite on the cooler tones... P40 tend to be more vibrant and saturated and warmer.

Mas maganda naman camera ni p40 pro ang nag down sa kanya walang super macro. At try nyu po compare ang night mode ng p40 pro vs p30 lang. Malau pong mas malinaw si p30 more details po cya. Ung d nakikita ng mata makikita niya pati kulay

@@mahreenr8697 personally, there are people who I know who sold their P30 Pro and bought a P40 Pro and now regret it, the P30 Pro had a certain look to it, I personally think the P30 Pro was the best ever phone that Huawei ever produced and could be the best smartphone ever produced, unlike the P20 Pro that had a monochrome sensor, The Black and White Photo's from the P30 Pro are near identical to the P20 Pro's, we await to see what the P50 Pro bring's to the table.

Overall, I agree that the camera of P40 is a huge improvement from P30's...however, there are some features wherein the P30 can potentially beat P40.. Like the supermacro...
