Until they gives the upgrades (which is basically gives 8-90% of the new phone experience for free..) for longer, who cares? Almost nobody change the phone in every year for a while.. so they only need to make bigger changes, when the average user usually switch the phone (aka if the 90% of the users use their phones for 4 years, they only need to do enough chanes in that 4 years period, not in every year, so when the old user looking for new phone, it still attractive gor them..)

❤❤❤The Huawei Pura 70 ultra is a 5G phone. I have tested it and its connectivity speed is in fact better than all my other 5G phones. It is also a fully functional SATELLITE PHONE which can communicate with a satellite that is 32,000 miles above the earth's surface. The satellite technology of the Pura 70 ultra is light years ahead of the iPhone 15 max which can only send SOS sms via a satellite that is only 100 to 150 miles up. 😂

@@kgapholasegadimanebethuel3873 In theory, it is called 4G+. In Vietnam, Viettel, a telecommunications group, also has the same technology as Huawei and developed it itself, and it is also 4G+. As far as I know, it is called 4G+ here. In terms of theoretical bandwidth, 4G is achieved but in reality it does not achieve that due to many factors. With 4G+ it almost achieves 5G speed but is not enough and reaches the exact theoretical 4G speed, one more factor is It supports wavebands from 4G broadcast stations that are upgraded to be close to 5G or upgraded to 5G standard. With Huawei, their 5G is defined as a complete device from the non-upgradable 5G standard transmitter to the chip. 5G embedded in the phone chip must meet different standards, its actual speed must also be 5 Gbp/s compared to the theoretical 10Gb/s, the minimum speed in the coverage area must be 400Mbp/s

Huawei is the only brand that is never shy of trying new designs. It's still the best smartphone in terms of photography but the Kirin chip needs to be on par with other flagships out there. Overall 9.5/10

Great video Nick, I'm also really impressed in how far Huawei has come, I'm a bit disappointed that the phone doesn't support 5G connectivity globally but it can hold its own against other flagship phones in real world daily usage which is impressive even tho the chip is made on an inferior node. Can't wait to see how it performs against other flagship phones in your battery drain and camera tests ✌️

Are we ever going to see a time where a Huawei device is reviewed without Google Services being mentioned as some sort of deal breaker? Its been four years now and Huawei has already shown that they actually do not need Google to make great devices as they have already done and their customers know very well what they are getting with a Huawei device.

Hi Nick, I like your videos. Lots of research and effort goes in. One way you could improve, is to focus on your voice. One sentence will be left on a high intonation, the following sentence will be left on a low intonation. It's ok to do this every now and then, but to the current extent it gets quite wearing on the ear. Almost like an unnatural conversational tone. If you work on this you might find more people stick with you to the end of your videos. I'm not trying to disrespect you, as a voice over coach I can't help but help! Keep up the good work.

For some reason Huawei is not releasing this phone in the UK. The Company is to be congratulated on the development of it's own SOCs, and the Mate 70 series is projected to have a more advanced chip than that in the Pura 70.

They didn't, SMIC was a TSMC subsidiary using TSMC technology. Then the Chinese government just decided "yeah, that's ours now" and stole it. It's how most of their tech development happens. Either that or purchasing other people's tech. Xiaomi is pretty much the elite brand now, and they use Qualcomm or Mediatek chips, Samsung displays, speakers tuned by Samsung, and Samsung or Sony camera sensors.

Another perfect work from huawei company when it comes to innovation huawei is the one who are progress when it comes to over all performance in technology even they are restricted in other aspects.they also raising the competition among the other brands like samsung and apple. Look what apple pad 2024 they adapt the light weight that huawei first did but still its not bezelles.huawei also is the go when it comes to premium gadgets but will not compromise its quality and your budget. look at there phone tablet laptap and watches they give it innovative upgrade not like other brand that it took so slow for them to innovate (hi,apple) 😂theyr just making out of money from simple upgrade thats not worth it.and it cost much.again congrats huawei,by the way im still happy using the huawei matepad 13.2 and freebuds pro 2 its 4months already but its make me like it more and more😘😘😘🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

for me i dont mind the absent of google. i rock the papermatter matepad almost 3 months and no problem finding the apks. I really would love to buy the pura 70 pro. But my biggest gripe with it is the price and absent of 5G. in malaysia its only 4g capabled. and the price? its more expensive than iphones and samsungs lol.
