Proud user of Huawei Watch Fit 3 from 2, for 2 months now. Its gps is pretty accurate. Longer battery life. Already used it on my Trail Marathon, Half Marathon and ultra marathon. All i can say is, it is satisfying to use.

The thing I don't like with most of the big brands' smart watches is that they don't last very long in battery life. 3 days of battery life isn't enough and 18 hours is most certainly unacceptable. I want to be able to forget that I'm wearing a smart device that needs to be charged on my wrist and spend my weeks without worrying about it dying on me. Having to charge a smart watch every night just seems like having a second phone. So Huawei takes my pick here being both a reliable health tracker, (for the most part like heart rate tracking) but also a functional watch that actually serves its purpose as a watch.

This is true. I am trapped in iOS ecosystem lol but I was never really enticed by Apple watch. I was into multisports and I had to join crazy ultramarathons and mountain ultras back in the days so we need to have a watch that will last us more than a day. I was introduced to Garmin and Suunto as the best long battery watches before these smart watches became popular. Now, I always look into the battery life as my primary criteria. I have always been using miband but lately their waterproofing got mediocre and my watches got destroyed after using them in pool training session. This Huawei watch looks promising and hopefully the waterproofing is legit since I need it for swimming plus the battery life is impressive.

I just bought it yesterday, im an iphone user myself too. So if you're comparing these two based on the price, then the huawei it's a no brainer. But there's something u should take note of, which is the watch only able to play back music on phone with 4 commands which is resume, pause, next, and back. The music play back on the watch itself is not available on iphone. But u can connect to an android or huawei phone first to download the music files on the watch first. Then u can connect it to iphone.

And another major problem, which I didn't have with the Huawei Band 8, is that after it disconnects from the phone's Bluetooth (I use Iphone), it doesn't reconnect automatically. Basically, you're forced to go into the Huawei Health app and reconnect multiple times a day, otherwise you won't receive any messages on the watch. And you do this at first, but at some point you get bored and stop doing it. And in this way, message transmission becomes non-existent.

I have the Fit 2, the SLEEP FEATURE SUCK! It can only record sleep between 8 to 8. If you are working the night shift, expect the result to be screwed. If your wake up time is 9pm, then the watch will only show 1 hr of sleep. Your sleep prior to 8pm will be added to the previous. This slee feature can only monitor NORMAL SLEEP time, but if you're doing the NIGHT SHIFT, forget the watch. I called their customer care and they said it's a software limitation. Did they fix this with the new Fit 3?

If you are in a budget and just need the watch for health/work out needs then Hwawei is good for u. Apple SE works better if you have an iphone bc again it’s apple. Se is also budget friendly compared to other series.

It's a good watch, but not excellent. The issue isn't with the build quality or technical performance, but rather with how you access the apps. I previously used the Huawei Band 8 and was very satisfied with it. It was simple, and the app was well-designed, allowing easy access to desired applications or settings. The Huawei FIT 3 is an attractive and high-performing watch, but it has managed to frustrate me due to its app interface. They've overcomplicated things. Instead of reaching what you need in 2 steps, now it takes 5. Plus, there are unnecessary and annoying messages.

Not really what you asked, but I know the HUAWEI health app counts steps from your phone as well as the watch, so if your phone is in your pocket when you’re pushing a strolller, you’ll get the steps from that even if the watch doesn’t register them.

Both watches have the same upgraded sensors. I currently have the GT4 46mm and its great. I typically have most of its features turned on, and it lasts about 8 days. My hunch is that the Watch Fit 3 does the same as well having the same hardware and all, however in battery life, your mileage may vary.
