After 3 years mine still looks new. Not a scratch and I wear it daily. The step count is a bit generous to say the least and the heart rate suspicious! But overall a premium watch!

The "Always On" feature stays on for 5mins and is cannot be extended :)

I chose gt 2 pro over gt 3. I got it for 170sgd which is more cheaper than gt 3 and the selling point is the titanium body and sapphire glass

The strap material is mentioned in the video so I’m not gonna repeat it. As for the durability it’s too early to tell, I only posted the video 2 days ago and only got the watch 3 weeks ago. So i cant tell if its durable.

Would you recommend completely draining the battery before recharging it or just charging it whenever it hits about 50%? What is the best strategy for long battery life?

If you are very concerned with battery life, only drain if it is not going to be used for a long time. Besides that, batteries should be charged full as much as possible and never hit 0% if possible.

general rule of thumb for li-ion batteries: dont let it get too low and too high (voltage), so 30%-80% should be best for long term battery life. when the battery health gets around 80% u should start considering getting a new battery, but personally id replace it at 40% health because taking it apart would be kind of a pain in the ass, if there are any batteries for it.

There are some features that you will not be able to use. Best to have a huawei phone to pair, but if you don't mind just having the basic features, then any phone will do :) I'm using an Iphone by default, but used my huawei when I was testing this phone.

Funny you should ask! Yes it does have speakers to play music out loud but they don’t connect to spotify, the watch only plays music that has been stored in the Huawei health app, so thats not very useful 🤣

You can go to Huawei site and download the (Huawei App Gallery) To get watch faces for i phone users just use an android tablet or phone and download (HMS core) and (Huawei Health app) unpair your watch from your iPhone then pair it to the android phone or tablet. You will see music apps and watch faces choose the watch faces you like and then download them to the watch. Unpair watch from the android tablet or phone and then pair it back to the iphone all watch faces will be there. You can also download (huawei music app)and add songs to the watch and apps that are available.
