Really depends on your needs. Has most of the features that I need and I love that it gets 1-2 weeks on a charge. It I’ll probably go back to my Apple Watch. But will use this when travelling so I don’t have to worry about a charger.

Hey Greg wow I hope you'll have lots of fun with the Huawei watch as it looks fantastic! I've connected my Huawei gt 2 to my Huawei p40 phone and I got watch face with Saturn and rings. Lots of new features that's not in my gt 2 watch so upgrade I'm th8nking about it. I should connect Gt 3 Pro with my Huawei p40pro smartphone as its my first professional camera and this watch would be nice for it. The watch you got looks so stylish and watch face looks great. Glad your over covid as I know how you felt when you had it and hope everybody in family is safe! Did you see any Google stuff on watch? Glad to see you using apple phone which is a nice thing. How does it feel when you got it on? I'll be interested if battery lasts that long. I'm glad Huawei are doing these products still and I must admit I've been super impressed with Huawei p40pro smartphone for astrophotography and bloody wow this phone camera is high professional camera. The reason setup is so fiddly is an apple thing. On android in the Health app when you click Add on devices it just scans for and shows your device. Apple have to make everything difficult.

actually they dont. i have both apple and android phones and for the most part the apple gear is just as easy or easier.

@@gregtoope Actually they do. You just proved my own point. Apple purposefully handicaps any device that isn't their own to make it as annoying to use as possible to push people to only buy Apple devices. It's the same with trying to connect any bluetooth headphones to an apple device you gotta go through the pairing menu in the settings rather than them just allowing apps to detect them automatically.

@@lewismackay9533 thats not true at all. I've tested plenty of Bluetooth products that connect all by themselves without having to go into settings. Pretty sure that this is the developer that has to incorporate this into their product.

Dear Greg Toope, Maybe you can solve this mistery. I am talking about the memory capacity of the GT3 pro. The following 3 set on numbers can be found on the internet about the RAM/ROM capacities namely 32 Mb/4Gb, 2Gb/16Gb and 4Gb/32Gb. I contacted Huawei in The Netherlands where I live and they would not give me any information about the memory capacity. It seems like a company secret. However there is a way to check it partly namely connect the watch to the Huawei Health app and somewhere in the settings of the app you can at least see what memory capacity is still free. I think this will give at least a valid number of the ROM (to store data and misic files). Karl I would appreciate it if you could have look at it with your GT3 pro. many thanks in advance. Also If the RAM is only 32 Mb (which is rediculous small) this GT3 pro can probably never be updated to Harmony OS 3.0 (the 3 pro and 3 pro NEW both are updated to harmonay OS 3.0 but those 2 watches have a RAM/ROM of 2GB/16Gb).

Internal ROM 16 GB.... Internal RAM 2 GB.... *The available memory capacity is less than this value because the system software takes up part of the space.

Damn thats one big A.. watch hahahaha yep its a heavty price but quality seems awesome an functionality too, but not using most of the functions in personal case let me stick with my BW-HL3 for a tenth of the price and after 2 years still working great.
