Why no mention or test on the offline map feature on workout modes? That's one of the defining differences between the GT4 and GT5. It's indeed nice to have a more detailed map for context on the trail instead of just breadcrumb navigation on the GT4.

I rarely use WhatsApp, but I did get notifications from all selected apps, so that'll be supported

@Techusiast That's what I am afraid, same case as previous versions it seems.... Wear OS smartwatches do show pictures on notifications. Do you recall at least seeing pictures while using or opening apps after the notifications?

I've just tested Facebook Messenger. The notification shows up on the watch and it says "Sent a photo", so yes, the attachments don't display on the watch. Text only

I just double checked my notes, and I can confirm that it's supposed to be sapphire glass

@@Techusiast GT 5 has "only" Gorilla glass. GT 5 Pro has saphire glass.

You may be right about only Pro having sapphire, looks like I may have got that wrong, but it's definitely not Gorilla Glass. Huawei usually uses it's own version of glass materials.

Does the GT5 have that mini keyboard that makes it possible to text Whatsapp replies? With the GT4 you could only reply with emojis and a list of pre-selected short messages.

I used gt4 pro steel for one year used the gt5 pro titanium for 1 month exact same software and battery life also didnt notice any difference in sensors. I didnt like the more shiny and thinner smaller strap on gt5 pro yes its a little lighter than gt4 and the watch has soft edges looks less manly than gt4…

Oh and for some reason the distance connection to my phone is much shorter on the new gt5pro
