@@MarkHarrison4 Did you explore the Jungle regions. In Santa Cruz its crazy we do Jaguar and Anaconda trips. See them basically every trip. Was lucky to see a Spectacled Bear in Cochabamba too. I am aiming to climb Huyana Potosi soon and your video helped a lot !! The last part looks mental

Cheers Peter, I appreciate it. You're absolutely right it was difficult to not only piece together the whole story, but to actually film while we were up there.. I was light headed the whole time haha

I saw! I'm going to attempt this in a few months - it certainly looks like the kind of trip that people underestimate. Seeing your film has made me a little more wary. If you don't mind me asking - how much training did you do before hand, if any?
@MarkHarrison4
@MarkHarrison4 6 жыл бұрын
nah, no training needed. Just need to acclimatize, 10 days in La Paz or similar altitude should do it.... if not, take altitude meds

Gosh, you guys are the craziest persons. It looks freeking intense and spectacular at the same time. Glad, that you find your way back home safe. Does it feels good to come back home after such a long time of traveling or is it weird? I'm on a trip around the world right now and i'm afraid of coming home one day because you changed yourself so much while making all this incredible experiences and at home nothings changed. I enjoyed every pic and vid from this trip so much. So thanks for taking us with you.

Thanks a lot Petra! Feels really great to be home and see all my family including my 9 nieces and nephews. It's not that weird now because I guess i'm used to it... I've been overseas for 6 years now. Although I totally understand what you are feeling on your trip, it's a tough transition coming back home for sure.

Is this route the easiest? How many different routes are there? Lots of info missing incl how bad it has to get before you abandon the climb. Altitude sickness can be deadly not just an inconvenient headache. Looks like with some of those ridges your next fall could be your last. Did you get lucky with the weather?

Great video! The exposure on the summit ridge looks wild. Is there any alternative route? It's the only thing putting me off at the moment.. I've been to 6000m before but it's that knife edge I'm not sure I have the head for 😂
