Yup, almost every mordex I've with a skin uses _that_ skin. Something else that might contribute to it is that currently scyte is just a better version of katars, with more range, damage, reading potential, k.o potential, relatively safer moves, and more string variations. #buffkatars ;-;

@@micaelgarcia1576 katars r better than scythe, idk if u play dcythe but its in a weird spot rn, there is no true combo, only 2/3 dodge read can lead into orange and they are very situational, unlike katars you have alot of read that does alot of dammage, the only reason scythe is played like that its cuz how flashy it is and sandstorm is probably motivating some player too

@@otsu3801 Huh, my experience is the exact opposite: With scyte I can deal way more damage than with katars, because I don't need to risk getting face to face to hit, which also makes it harder to get punished for missing Also with scyte is relatively easier to read than with katars, due to most attacks just covering more distance and being faster in general; a lot of times a single dodgemiss when playing katars makes me lose all control over my opponent, but that almost never happens with scyte. Another thing I'd like to point out is that even in situations where katars deal more damage through combos, they have rather bad engagement options (dair, slight), having to rely on alternate methods like dash-nair-slight/sair which are harder to pull off and work half the time due to knockback being finniky... I might be missing the point of katars, but to me they feel like a gauntlets that trade comfort and enemy control for damage and a tiny bit more range Also, I really would like to know your views on this; I never truly understood katars and no tutorial I saw really helped, maybe there's something about the stance that should be taken when playing them or something obscure alike that's messing my thought process up...
