I don't like that extended long Picatinny adapter. I didn't hold one in my hands, but that added length means more leverage. I would by worried that it breaks some gun parts if the gun falls down on the adapter because of the added leverage.

Understand the thought. This is a precision CNC'd product and you would have to exert a whole heck of a lot of force. It's secured by two m5 x 20mm screws directly into the block through the rear kick plate. I'd be more worried about the rest of the pistol being subjected to that kind of force.

Why not just make the stock bigger as an option.

The stocks are generally all prefab. Most all minimalist style stocks are between 7-9" long. A longer stock also does not solve for hand clearance or adequate cheek weld relief with adapters that butt right up to the rear of the block. The a3 tactical stock is one that will work well, but it is quite spendy. Well worth it imo though.
