happy to see this change. I've always thought the person with the most energy should be the host of this pod. Kyle kind of set the tone of this being a sillier take on a gaming news pod so this definitely feels like a welcome change.

Bloodworth is an organized guy and that is also a really big strength for podcast hosting, but I think in the Brandon days where Blood was sort of the consistent co-host that had put a lot of research time in was his sweetspot.

You need to get people's attention the first 30 seconds to a minute, not lose them bc they don't know or care what you're "correcting" from a podcast they didn't even listen to. @@InnerRise Alright, but. I don't think their strategy of attracting new viewers has really worked out, we can see their views speak for itself. It's lower than it used to be, unfortunately. I'm a new viewer, I started watching the show last year, and you know which podcasts made me into a big fan? The ones where corrections was still a thing. i binge watched the older stuff from 2020 backwards, and the corrections didn't deter me because if I'm watching a podcast, i know I can literally skip ahead to after its done. its hours of content, the type of person who's going to leave immediately isn't the type thats gonna watch a podcast at all

They need new viewers. They already have you. And coming to a podcast to click through everything is probably not what they want and is something they paid attention to in analytics. Always loved Damiani, especiallynas a reviewer. That said, Damiani waffling without interruption for 20 minutes at the time is exhausting. Kyle was the only one capable of stopping him on his tracks, and usually challenge him with an argument that helped him make a compelling argument. Damiani needs that, please Huber reign him in!

@@charoleawood I'm similar to you, I enjoy all of EZA and will happily hear out all their opinions, but I don't think it's wrong to note that a bit more focus and lead from a host can help make certain discussions more fruitful/productive. Sometimes people can appear to waffle because they're unsure when to stop or if they've said enough, it's also normal to lose track of conversation, so rather than 'reigning in', another person's input can just be helping them 'refocus'. I don't think it is necessarily a negative sentiment.

Ninja gaiden 4 looks like it will have 2 different play styles from the trailer. With the new protagonist it looks like it will play like revengeance and the platinum hack and slash we all know , with Ryu looks like it will stick to the gameplay of team ninja from ninja gaiden 2 but more fast. I'm excited as heck

Yea no.. Final Fantasy PC port is absolute trash, we shouldn´t accept this kind of shit. Just because it now runs at good framerate with sharp image doesn´t mean it´s a good port. Do some research- stuttering no matter if you have 5090 in your PC, no mouse control in menu and bunch of other issues.

@@BasketCase-rr7tx whenever i hear ninja gaiden 1 get brought up pundits --- not even ninja gaiden fans --- refer to it as "ninja gaiden black" while no doubt there are gaiden fans who prefer black, the image that black is better has been spread by general punditry, not by ninja gaiden fans it gives the idea that the vanilla version was somehow broken and black was needed to fix it i'm not sure that most pundits are even aware that team ninja released ninja gaiden in 2004 to massive critical success and released black later as essentially the same game but with new enemies only available on hard i am familiar with all the renditions of ninja gaiden

@@BasketCase-rr7tx you wonder if it didn't start as a ninja blade game specifically i am a fan of team ninja's first two gaidens, the vanilla versions of both several things hurt team ninja's gaidens as i see it 1 difficulty, even huber remembers it as brutally hard, but he hasn't actually checked to see if that's still true after nearly two decades of fromsoft games (in fact, ninja gaiden is much easier than its legacy says it is, however easy mode should have been included in the games from the start) 2 xbox exclusivity, even though it brought out the best in graphics 3 too many re-releases without moving the franchise forward 4 itagaki, his ego and his behavior and his leaving the company, taking many devs with him 5 ninja gaiden 3, not a bad videogame, but it ain't my ninja gaiden i don't mind team ninja sticking to their nioh niche, i don't think they are the company to properly realize a new ninja gaiden, which should be graphically impressive at the very least platinum is also definitely not the company to do it either

@@charoleawood I actually think the difficulty of Ninja Gaiden might be hard for modern gamers to get their head around because they are used to having things like a lock on and a camera that is semi helpful. Ninja Gaiden has neither.

@@BasketCase-rr7tx yeah, but ryu automatically targets an enemy no matter where he's facing, the player can hold block and ryu will guard from attacks coming in all directions i think people have some trouble understanding that good defense and parrying are important to aggressive battling, which ninja gaiden demands AND makes intuitive when i play souls i am a much more aggressive player by using blocking versus other players who rely only on parries and dodges, i learned it from ninja gaiden but the character action genre did not disappear with ninja gaiden 3, we've had plenty of not-souls since then ninja gaiden 1 was very much itagaki looking at devil may cry and saying, "i can do that, but better" and they did! it's not like people have stopped playing this brand of character action game, they know what devil may cry is still, it's a more forgiving genre than the souls-like or even sifu
