She has an excellent podcast "the happiness lab" where she talks about many aspects of happiness based on scientific research. It's really good and gives you a new way of thinking about life.

Personally I believe that every time my toddler nephew shows love to me it gets better. I think that's to do with the buildup of previous experiences. As a Muslim, I had an arranged marriage and as the love and trust grew with my wife it just got better every time she said she loves me. I think this might be to do witn the paradigms of the brain and how the brain frames these things.
