Shift -C (default) to get into the airplane on the ramp. I found on my system at least that my Caranado planes are flyable, (I have the P28) but none of the lights work at night, including famous flyers B35V. Not sure about other famous fliers

Thank you! Our amazing Flight Sim Community comes through again. I did note that you have to have your keyboard set to FS2024 Transversal mode (in Controls Settings) to get this to work - but work it does & well.

@@Huddison I should have mentioned that you can also bind a key or joystick button if you like the 2020 key layout. I believe the command you are looking to bind is 'Take Control of Character' or something to that effect

I’ve decided to wait for the dust to settle before investing in msfs2024, in the meantime I’ve gone back to X-plane 12, I used to really struggle with performance in XP 12 but on the latest beta it’s working really well for me and the latest ATC is finally usable. In fact I’m enjoying flying the Zibbo 737 so much over ORBX GB I’m debating whether to buy msfs2024 at all now. Thank you for all the very informative videos, they’re a great help!

I bought the Just Flight Piper Warrior II from the marketplace several years ago. It doesn’t show up in my 2024 library yet. I think I may have another one or two but I definitely miss this one. Most of my marketplace purchases did come over.

According to the MSFS2024 Compatibility chart (at FSElite), JF is still working on 2024 versions of their Pipers.

My Cessna 182 RG by Carenado also works for me in 2024, My Kodiak 100 that I bought from the market place in 2020 also works including the amphibious version. Some of my airport scenery, JFK, KSFO, Honolulu and a couple of others were all working at the beginning and all look great but have since been removed and no longer able to stream them. I did copy over my A2A comanche from my 2020 community folder and pasted in my 2024 community folder and it worked perfectly, have done a couple of flights in it. There is no word yet on the TDS GTN 750, I like to use that in the comanche. All in good time, they say good things come to those who wait and that patience is a virtue. Honestly I can see why they call patience a virtue lol. Just wanted to let you know my experience, not much different from yours friend. Cheers!

in career mode I had the same issue getting in the plane at the start of the career. I had to restart the career and was able to get in.

I have got the Cessna 182RG and the Mooney, both Carenado, on Xbox. For the first time some of my airports show up, as do some other add ons I bought. But those are all not installed. Strange thing is my FSAcademy packs all showed up in Activities/Custom Content earlier in the week and now they don’t. All these are there, but also not installed. So they must be busy doing something, just be patient and wait.

On the xbox controller if you hold down Lb + B, you will move into the aircraft. Discovered this with my kodiak 100. Unfortunately none of the control surfaces can be checked yet.

Well, I would say what is going on is exactly why they said it would be delayed. They said before it launched that the Marketplace would not be available right away so as to give modders a chance to tweak their aircraft for 2024 so as to alleviate bugs. Unless you've heard otherwise since then, I'd say we're exactly where they said we would be. And the planes we do have access to because we bought them in 2020, may not run without some bugs.

All of the scenery add-ons were originally enabled to stream in. I know this because I had conflicts with multiple versions of the same airports and structures. It was causing me all sorts of issues, but as of Thursday night (I think it was Thursday) they had all been disabled. So when you did that London flight is entirely possible that scenery was enabled and working, but has since been disabled. Also I'm sure i read that they said in the week of the 9th there will be an update that allows us to enable and disable addons as we want. And you should probably stop following that woman and child around the airport, it's a bit creepy.

I had all my airport add-ons last week and then just like that they removed them all again. Hopefully they come back soon as all of the stock airports in Northern Ireland look terrible.

The ones showing streamed are not within MSFS2024 standards like removing the covers, pins and chocks that needs to be modeled and tasted! They need to be consistent with the new precoders implemented

They have stated that many planes haven't worked as expected at launch and are being vetted one by one. Many were actually keeping the game from launching. The future compatibility of the compatibility we were promised is currently unknown.

On Xbox, how do you get out of the Commercial Jets like the A320, etc and walk around. The small planes are fine, just open the door and your out. Not so with the big jets

I have a problem!! I have just had a new PC and when I went to download MS 2020 from Steam to my new computer, I inadvertently loaded it to the C drive. After downloading all the updates I went to install them and I get the fault [Un able to load due to lack of room on the drive] I need to move MS2020 to my D drive which has 7TB but I cant find MS2020 on the C drive to transfer it???? Any help anyone can give me will be much appreciated.

As each week passes, I have less and less interest in 'upgrading' to FS2024. It is nothing more than an early release of a pre-build! Actually, I must say that your recent vids are getting boring. You seem to spend more time walking around airports than flying! Come on James. Give us something really interesting! (But I guess that's not possible until Asobo pull their fingers out and get to the 'real' release!)
