5.1 liters is pretty large for a six cylinder engine mate. That 5.1L Inline Six sounds pretty good though in fact sounds wayyy better than the 3.5L Twin Turbo Ecoboost V6.

these Hudson Hornets weren't exactly used on pavement race tracks... only used in dirt tracks due to their low center of gravity, maybe causing them to drift or "right to go left"...

Only because there were more dirt tracks than pavement in the 50s. They ran on the pavement when they had to, as anywhere else. The low center of gravity helps on any surface. "Dirt" cars tend to have been higher then, due to how rough the track was likely to get if it wasn't already. Turning "right to go left" was the way all cars ran on dirt ovals. Most still do. It's done to slow them down some to enter a corner while still keeping the RPMs up. Turning is mostly done with the throttle then. It's not drifting. It's a totally different driving technique. A positive, the movie Cars did pay tribute to all of the old race cars of the past. The negative . . . very few people still know anything about them. Old age I guess. Although the cars of this era were "born" four and five years before I was. This car was a NASCAR championship-winning car. It didn't do any rally racing. Now, Lincoln and Cadillac cars did run in the Pan-America rally across Mexico in the 50s.
