Huey's voice has always been powerful. Ive been a fan for a really long time. Four and Hard at Play were my two favorite cd's. Very hard to get over.

Huey and his boys had the best music videos in 80's when MTV got up and going. That alone changed landscape and contribution of delivery content for Rock. Put 'em in the HOF they defined 80's era and are a versatile act.

Thats music for ever, they played live easy and sounds like the cd and need no playback or technique tricks like stars of today....thanxs

They've only been eligible for four years. And, given that the nominations seem to be partly based on drawing power, rather than focusing on contributions to the development of rock and roll, there's some question of how fair the system is. I do agree, they should have a place in the Hall of Fame sooner rather than later.

They've now been eligible for 15 years. But this year, it turns out that anyone can be dropped from consideration, no matter how many votes they get, if the Grammy people whine that they want their favorite dead crack-whore in! Yes, that happened this year, when the fairly elected Pat Benatar got snubbed in favor of the not even nominated, NTM dead, Worthless Houston! Well, the ceremony got cancelled thanks to the Corona pandemic, I guess there's justice after all.

@isaiahwisdom How fitting! Lange write their first Billboard top 40 hit. And 11 years later! He co-wrote this after he finished co-writing and co-producing Bryan Adams' Everything I Do I Do It for You!

problem is you can't induct everyone. i have this argument about cheap trick all the time, they have 16 studio lp's, have the same lineup as they did on their first lp, are constantly brought up as a musical influence...maybe they get looked upon as lightweight, huey that is, since they were big for a few years and sort of faded into being more of a touring act...but hey i dig em....just an observation.
