serbanmike no they dont manufacture here in Australia but, the fact we live in a VERY hot country the idea of Solar Power taking care of most the needs is appealing and I like the design of the homes.

Hugo Brown Sounds good. I have solar panels on my house that give me around 4.5 MW.h , roughly the needs of my house. for a year. But usually houses take from 10-15KW.h /day that brings you in the range of 5.5 MW. However for you, being in a house with mostly glass walls , with an R factor of 6- 8 you will need probably a lot more. But whatever you need as PVs plus a Tesla battery or two , should give you a comfortable living in this kind of house. Also if you add some hot water panels for your showers, it should be very efficient energetically. Probably you want to stay on the power grid as a back up, since it would be costly to store energy for a couple days for rainy days. Lots of luck !

Paul Piritaie Did you ask Huf company if they have factories there in New Zeeland? It may be very expensive to ship all from Germany to New Zeeland.I wonder how are these houses behaving in an earthquake environment.Do you have to replace all the glass panels in your house after an earthquake?How is the energy efficiency in a house like this?

SueArama RAPSTAR it‘s common and nowadays almost every Huf Haus has solar cells at the roof. As you can see in the end: the house is still not completed

Судя по обзорам плюс-минус таких же Хуф хаусов на канале Домогацкого - не менее 1,5-2 млн евро (со всей отделкой, но без земли). Этот, конечно, очень большой дом.
