I have the curiosity of how much taxes do you pay for such a prize, i mean do the casinos take the tax percentage or you pay it after receiving the money? Thanks!! I was on the edge of my seat s well when this bonus happened. In the US, you don’t pay taxes on the total prize won. The casino gives you a tax form that is reported to the government called a WG-2. When you file your annual taxes in April, you are able to offset your casino losses against your wins and only pay the appropriate tax rate based on the difference.
