This has absolutely NOTHING to do with skin color. In fact, I had to go back and look at it again to realize that he was, in fact, a Black man. It has to do with the suspicion so many people carry. Stop looking for devils under every bush. It is a sad enough statement that people would be uncomfortable giving and receiving something as pure as a hug without trying to turn it into a hate gesture.
