What an incredible doll play area! I absolutely love Courtney’s room with Rob Lowe on her wall. I’m inspired to spruce up my Courtney bedroom. I worked for AG at the Atlanta location when Blair launched. Her pig was the hot item for GOTY launch so I carried several around in my apron. The customers swarmed me when they knew I had extras on me. Ha! It’s a blessing that you have the big sets. Mary Ellen’s airstream is so cool. I have the OG beach house and I just put it in storage but it’s my favorite!!!! I kinda want the cozy cabin for the cold months. Fun video!!!!

@@agitssocute aww yes the pig is adorable. It was fun working at AG. I did all the visual displays and plexiglass displays. Get paid to play with dolls!!! Sadly our store shut down. I want to go to Orlando or Charlotte store since I’ve been to many of the other locations. Keep collecting. There’s new world travel outfits coming out soon. I wish they would do a Greek outfit. (My daughters are half Greek). I spent too much $ last year on AG so I need to slow down. Haha

I actually haven’t had it that long, I just didn’t have a place that I wanted to use for it at the time of recording the video. I’m actually painting it white. I guess that’s a no no since it’s American Girl Molly’s retired bed, but painting it white will help it go with more things.😊 I would suggest looking at places like Mercari or EBay. You can Google American Girl Molly’s Jenny Lind bed and click “shopping”. I often find AG items that way. I hope this helps. I hope you find one soon. Thanks for watching. Welcome to the American Girl community! You are going the love it! There are so many things you can do with the dolls and their accessories. From creating your own food, clothing, artwork, bedding, furniture, etc. to photography, stop motion, or creating your own KZbin channel, the possibilities are endless. Then of course there are all of the wonderful fun things you can buy! The dollhouses I have my husband had made. They’re both wood. As far as the flooring I’ve used fabric, shelf paper, scrapbook paper that is taped together and then laminated and I haven’t yet, but you can even use wrapping paper. Some of the flooring is just the painted shelves. Recently, I’ve found printables that you can download. There are many things you can use😊 As for the ceiling height we just added a couple of inches to the shelf spacing for clearance so the dolls had plenty of headroom. If you’re making your own dollhouse the height is whatever you would like for it to be. I didn’t want to have the ceilings too high because I wanted to take advantage of as much space as I could. Thank you 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed the tour! I think your referring to the bunk beds in the dollhouse. There’s not enough space between the bed and the ceiling for the dolls to be in the top bunk. They will fit in the top bunk when the bed isn’t in the dollhouse. It’s a tight fit, but it does work.😀 I hope this helps to answer your question.😊 Thanks for watching 💕

Please don’t apologize, I’m happy to answer your question and help if I can. ☺️ There are two built ins (installed when the room was built) and I now have two custom dollhouses. The dollhouses are made of plywood. However, I’ve seen dollhouses made using IKEA bookcases. The only issue is they may not be deep enough. Be sure to take a measuring tape when searching for bookcases or shelving. Some people use metal brackets and shelves. I hope this helps. 🙂 Thanks for watching 💕

I can tell you that a lot of what I have is American Girl or Our Generation. If it’s an item that has been retired I get those from Mercari or EBay. Some things I’ve made or my daughters have made. I’ve gotten things at antique stores and garage sales. I also purchase items that aren’t necessarily made for dolls, but that you can use for dolls. My youngest daughter began the collection and I took over once she outgrew the hobby. The collection began about 15 years ago. I’m sorry that I can’t be more helpful, but if there are some more specific items that you would like to know where I got those maybe I can tell you where those came from. @@cnancy7602 I ordered Makena today!😂 American Girl had a sale and I had a rewards certificate. I love Evette! She’s so beautiful and I’m always a big fan of freckles 😊 Her hair is really gorgeous, too. I don’t plan on doing anything to her hair since it’s so curly and with me being an adult collector she mostly stays displayed in one of my dollhouses or I’ll use her in my videos from time to time. I’ll say that nearly every time I see a doll in person they’re even more beautiful than online or in catalogs. Go with whatever doll you think is right for you. I’ve never been disappointed in any of the dolls I’ve purchased over the years. I always read reviews and watch reviews on KZbin, but in the end I always go with my heart 😊 I hope you enjoy your new dolls! And welcome to AG! You’re gonna love it!

I have a little sewing area that I have a doll house made from shelving units. In it there are 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and a bathroom. I have made fold up portable rooms for a laundry room and a salon. I have made tours of the rooms and you can see them on KZbin.
