Spencer is a good one from the Jaguars. He has a shot to play on Saturday for a power 5 program. Jackets had way to many INT´s and you cant win a game if you give the ball away a few times. That false call wouldnt change the outcome of this game but the umpire was on the line and it "smells" a bit. At the 7:12 mark, the pass was ruled incomplete because he stepped out of bounds and came back in, once a receiver goes out of bounds, he can’t be the first person to touch the ball when he comes back in. That’s why the referee threw his hat.

@@thetraybrew gotcha, i’ve heard both things saying he was forced out of bounds which would allow him to come back in and make the catch under rule, then again, it’s all hearsay

The ref threw his hat that means he went out of bounds before catching it....thus making him ineligible to be the first one to touch the ball.
