Hello, great work! I’m always inspired 😄 I done a mirror similar to this a couple of months back using white faux fur to cover my mirror and it turned out great 👍🏾 TIP: instead of doing a trim I gently popped my mirror out of frame ( on back there was like brown paper bag material I simply cut along the edge to expose the staples that was holding the mirror in using a flat head screw driver I lift stables up just enough to pop mirror out )and stapled faux fur on back so that it was seamless then I slide the mirror back in under the original stable holders and pressed them down to close and secure them . I used hot glue all along the back edge of the mirror and placed the brown paper back on top of the back of the mirror. It worked great and it came out seamless.

Love the make over. I bought a mirror from Ross. 27 by 70 . And I told my daughter that I had in mind of restoring the mirror. To save me money from buying a expensive mirror. Bought a mirror from Amazon for $224.00. The mirror was beautiful but it didn't have enough with for me. It look like something that wld go in a little girl's room. So I sent it back to Amazon. So now I have the size and length mirror that I want. It's time for me to get creative. So I can show my skill and hang my mirror in my livingroom over my beautiful sectional. I'm alway looking for a way to enhance the space. But that mirror was beautiful when she finished.

Wow! This stills makes me so mad at myself and the person who I sold my hair salon to because they trashed all 10 of the mirrors I had in the salon they were used as station mirrors . They look so much like this one you made you did such a wonderful job. I wish I could post a picture so everyone can see how beautiful the mirrors are and how beautiful yours is compared to the ones I had. Would you believe he actually put them in the dumpster and if I knew that he didn’t want the mirrors I would have taken them down and gave them to my clients who loved the look of the mirrors and kept one for myself. 😢 Ugh! I’m so 😡. Maybe I’ll try my hand at making one. . Sorry to vent it just still bothers me that he threw them in the dumpster. Beautiful work you do. Love your ides and designs.

This turned out really nice Denise. I have the same mirror from wally world and I am redoing mine as well. Kind of scared to do what I have in mind, don't want to mess it up. But in the DIY business you learn from the mishaps and learn to adapt on the move. I may just move it up on my room makeover days. Wish me success, lol

Hi Denise here's a tip of you decided to do this project again, take your fabric and place in down on the mirror staple it in the groove then flip it back into the framing and staple it to the back. Gives it a more finished look.😊

Was a great idea, the tufting did look sloppy. The stapling for the tufting could have worked but like she said she didn't measure anything or use any tools to crease the fabric just so. Looked homemade but I guess if your into sloppy and crafty....

I think that's very beautiful the only thing is you got to keep it in One direction and for the extra fabric long sticks that part doesn't look like but what you can do is it's fiction both ends straight on the edge of the screen then you and you probably also can do some bling bling bling crushed glass you can see the the scenes and it shouldn't be like you ask people to give your opinion and I'm giving you my opinion so I'm giving you my it looks beautiful and life no one will ever know that you know a few accidents unless they look at it really good and otherwise it's so pretty I love how you have leather I like that that's something different with the❤❤❤❤
