I'm sensitive to surgical tapes too. Some of them make me REALLY itchy, so I couldn't imagine how uncomfortable you were with the rash. Hope it clears up quickly so you can get back to the regular healing process!

I’ve ALWAYS had reactions to glue in tape. I can never use bandaids because I will have a rash in the exact shape of the bandage for daaaays and it’s so itchy. I think it’s a mild latex allergy!

Okay, the same thing happened to me with the tape. So what I have learned is I am allergic to certain adhesives, not all, but certain ones, and it got way worse after I had my babies. So mention it to the doctor if you ever go in for another surgery. Those rashes are absolutely miserable!! I’m so sorry. But you look great!!!

Yes I had the same problem ( adhesive tape ) years ago,I’ve worked in hospitals for quite a few years now and they now ask if the patient has ever had an allergy to the tape ,most people don’t know because they’ve never used it before

I am allergic to plastic, rubber and acrylic, so I have to use fabric bandages. I had an issue under one of my boobs and used fabric bandages, but found out I’m now allergic to the adhesive. Literally pulled skin off my boob. CrimeJunkies(saw it on your phone) - love Ash and Brit!
