Same with the Agolde! I wanted to try them on so bad due to other people recommending it. Was disappointed when I finally tried it on. Size 22 was super snug on the waist (which will loosen up) but completely flattens my butt, or size 23 which I’m sure will give me waist gap in the future. I like my jeans to be fitted at the waist and butt. Maybe 100% cotton jeans will never work as well on my pear shaped body :(

I have this issue all the time with jeans too! I find it funny that I always have better luck with lower end jeans from H&M than Agolde/Levi/Citizens of Humanity etc.. 😂 I do want to try some other Agolde styles though, hopefully there's a good fit somewhere!

Try the riley Jean style they fit more TTS. I typically wear 24/00 in other jeans and got a 23 in the Riley’s and they fit great!
