M&S wide leg trousers are a must. Elasticated waist and the waist is quite high too. I wear them for work and home. I think you would like them. I've always had big hips and small waist 😻

Had the same brown trousers, but they went back. R.O collection is a huge hit and miss. They truly highlight the hips and middle too much. And don't do anything for mu posterior. I returned them.
