KZbin punishes channels that don't put out content on a regular basis by not recommending their videos to new audiences. He isnt changing the quality of his actual content but in order to insure that he is going to have to have a series that he can just slap together and post to give himself the buffer time needed to make his real videos the best he can make them. It sucks that it works like that but his plan is solid and all in all will give us more content.

Hello Ben! Yousef makes a thought provoking comment at 23.35, which makes me think of that possibility on a grander scale. Could we raise a petition with the Egyptian government to create a volunteer program with the aim to clear rubble from the Giza plateau? The selling point and benefit for Egypt and Cairo would be a massive influx of eager volunteers from around the world, free labour, a dramatic boost to the economy on many levels in that area. Egypt would get bragging rights for this idea and this unique concept through publicity around the world. Again, another selling point would be this program would promote and lead to more tourism into Egypt for those wanting to see new, uncovered areas around the pyramids and beyond. Sincerely; your first volunteer!

The shaft at 16.23 with the cut out to the side looks like it was a guide for something going up and down. This after watching the rest of the presentation says to me, the shafts were for pumping water up to the pyramid, an those giant blocks at 29.00 were covering the water culvert, needing to be large to protect it for it's use in the pyramid's purpose.
@samuelyoung627214 күн бұрын
I thought something very similar, maybe they basically dug canals to bring in water then possibly they were able to use buoyancy to help get the blocks in place it'd be alot easier to lift the blocks up through a water filled shaft.. i dunno just a thought.. buti also saw a video that proposed what the died pillars were used for. Basically like giant wenches to pull the stones
@nbee814614 күн бұрын
@samuelyoung6272 I was leaning towards the pyramids needing water for their function not construction techniques. How they were built is another puzzle . That, an the age of them as yet to be revealed. I believe no pharaoh had anything to do with them being built, they moved in an repurposed them long after their construction, along with many other sites an artefacts in that region.

On these shafts - I was reminded 16 minutes in of recent theories of the use of hydraulics to leverage the multi-ton blocks used to build the pyramids. There are a few wilder theories such as lifting them on shafts filled with water running up the outside of the pyramid that dont make a whole lot of sense, but the one that DID make sense was using the inner core shaft to raise material on a wooden platform, possibly by controlled water pressure from all the tunnels being flooded by channeled river water. The only example I have seen so far, has been the Step Pyramid of Djoser with its massive floor to ceiling square shaft. There is a network of galleries and chambers that extends for almost 6 kilometers beneath the pyramid. They all connect to the central shaft that is 28 meters deep and 7 meters square. It has always made ZERO sense that all that was just to put a sarcophagus at the bottom. The strange, multi-block stone box at the bottom has a round peg block, which has never been used for a burial sarcophagus design anywhere else. I think it is a well, a passage to the deeper tunnels and water raised the very blocks the the pyramid was build from. And watching this video as you walk along the line of shafts there, seeing the great depth they go to, reference to an elevator, and water at the bottom, it suddenly made sense. It occurred to me.. what if those were starter shafts for more pyramids that used to be all over the plateau? Perhaps they were smaller and dissembled over the years. Or maybe they were just water cisterns, but why the cut blocks and shapes of them? Why not straight down round shafts into the bedrock like so many other countries made. The source for the hydraulic pressure could have been the Nile at a higher level, extinct channels that ran with a thin stream of water that they 'hydroplaned' the heavier blocks from quarries on, and the underground Nile system (very real) to force water up and use to their advantage in various construction methods.

13:06 From the structural evidence of the shaft at 11:06 all these shafts probably had a structure on top of them? Were these shaft in the Giza Plateau part of the foundation and airflow systems of ancient high rise skyscrapers? Modern high rise buildings always have a central column that covers a shaft that is variably 50 to 70 foot deep! And while I don't get the neuences of the accent... at 14:32 would I be right in thinking that Yousef Awan said: "...this could have been a whole *massive tower* once!" ? 29:28 The ridiculously impressive Giza Plateau engineering, stretches way past the perimeters of the Pyramids?

@@johnvista2858 It had to be hydraulic water power. Nothing else makes sense (at least to me) for a civilization thousands of years old without wandering into territory of our own technology of electrical/mechanical problem solving. They didnt drag massive stones for statues over wooden log and wet sand. That makes no sense. We know they didnt have power tools, buzz saws, or electrical plug-ins for those tools. But they had to have power - muscle power, for certain, but some things like overcuts cannot be explained, yet we know are thousands of years old. So what did they use? Imagine those shafts filled with water, they maneauver a heavy stone over the top that fits the grooves perfectly, they open a door to a passage somewhere else, the stone lowers and forces the water down and out the other passage at a high rate of speed. Hydraulic pressure. There is a full underground river running deep through the bedrock and huge caverns parallell to the above-ground Nile. From sourse to sea. There are passages beneath Giza, beneath the pyramids, passages with descending ramps and human-made rooms up at Hawara the size of airplane hangers. Passages that Yousef's father, when he was alive (RIP wise man), used to explore when he was a child that went all the way from his home (I believe) in Abu Gorab to the Sphinx and Giza Plateau, !0km. Those massive stones Ben and Yousef are walking on, are the roof of a massive underground structure. The Pyramids were built over primordial mounds of bedrock. They are markers. I think whoever they were, they knew how to harness the power of water, carved their shafts down to it, and use water pressure to solve problems of moving heavy stones. Maybe even building the Pyramids from the inside up central shafts, stones raised on platforms of hydraulic lifts.

Great content, the walk and talk is great, loving the banter! Its like I get to have a walk around somewhere I'll probably never get to go and you do it in the way I would not the guided tour but a proper explore and rummage about the place! It always blows my mind that such a priceless site of historical interest that holds the keys to so much understanding is treated like a garbage site and just milked for tourist money. Keep up the great work 👍

Or for Heru Em Akhet: Rise above your animal nature into higher consciousness.
@reidos642017 күн бұрын
We are MUCH more than an animal with a brain. Don't put yourself down to that level. Rise above. Christ consciousness exists within. The ancient initiation systems would kill the initiate and then revive him. That way we realises that consciousness is actually immortal and they can let go of all fears and truly ascend.

The attention to detail and production of your content is what makes your content able to hold my attention. I truly enjoy everything you share, and since the chances of personally being able to travel to these ancient sites across the world is probably not going to come for me, this as close as I can get. Thank you.

Woohoo let's go. I hope to have the money to join you on one of your trips to Egypt. I'm saving up now for it... gonna take a bit because I live on a disability check. But each month I save $100. I have $500 thus far, but I'm getting there.👍🤞

Same boat actually! (disability) before when i was still working I managed to save and budget for a whole year, twice, and go on two separate metal-music cruises in the Caribbean. It wasnt cheap, and I did it without using credit cards. Just cash and debit. But compartmentalizing your costs into categories as the year progresses helps. $ for flight by X date, $ for motel, for cabin on boat, food budget, souvenirs, etc. Visualizing every little detail and paying as you go, setting goal dates, instead of seeing a mountain goal of one lump sum of thousands of dollars really helped me get there. Anyway, I would love to do Egypt tour with these guys, and financially i could absolutely do it, same as you, 100 bucks away at a time, but I'm dealing with degenerative osteoarthritis and alot of chronic pain these days. I could never do the trekking around like they do. So i just research and write. Getting old lol. But if you can do it, then just go for it! Much luck to ya. Take lots of photos and video :)

It's the rubbish that really gets to me; every time I visit Egypt is sickens me to my core, the disrespect, sloth and degeneracy of it. Huge drifts of litter, blown by the winds all over the plateau, filling up any void or shaft with god only knows how many feet of offal, enough to require the efforts of an army over years to collect and remove it. And of course not just in and around Cairo, but all through the country. It is not until one gets south of Luxor that the problem starts to abate slightly. In a more enlightened regime, those caught in the act of littering would face a choice; huge fines, jail time, or a period of service collecting and removing the trash deposited by others. Exactly the same consequences exacted by many other countries around the world. This could easily be expedited by a strategic placement of CCTV cameras in especially sensitive areas, publicly posted notices and an educated Egyptian populace.

Or bins. Although there are plenty of people with brushes & bags to pick up some rubbish, there isn’t enough bins to put empty bottles, crisp packets & the like for disposal.
@benayers862216 күн бұрын
pretty sure you will find they filled em with trash on purpose, thats what iv heard.. Its all by design, as the guide said 'thousands of ppl wud happily volunteer' if we were just ALLOWED.. It obviously suits those in power to hide the truth.. Too many questions stop the slaves producing efficiently, a full narratives much more effective, it used to be god until critical thinking lead to science and so then science was hijacked and turned into a belief system itself. Now people believe things are "physically impossible" 🤣 and fear climate change and scarcity and obey because technology watches their every move instead of believing god does like before lol.. Clearly wev been slaves for longer than anyone realises and technology is bringing us to the point of no return we will be obsolete and seen as nothing but a drain on resources by those 1% who believe they have the right to own the world, soon there will be no need for an obedient team of people to be the police and army and farmers and even if all of humanity was to unite by some miracle it is now for the 1st time ever becoming possible for a single person to maintain technological dictatorship over the entire rest of the species

Supposedly with the new managing company of the plateau, this issue (among others) will be taken care of, before the opening of the Grand Museum (in July)

Some of these vertical shafts cut into bedrock were used as storage bins for different grains. After Egypt went through several years of drought and thousands of people starved, they made sure they had a supply of grain to get them through the lean years. A lot of these shafts look like ventilation shafts for the lower levels in the Giza plateau.

Audio was great. The casual pace of the walk gave time to absorb the whole scene more deeply, without edits breaking that flow. I super look forward to your edited videos - and this format is something I also look forward to seeing more of! Thanks Ben for following your inspiration and sharing with everyone!

Brother nobody should breathe that hard walking. You got years in you and miles to go until you’re done. Balance your research with your health so you can finish what you’ve started. Because the rest of us are counting on it. 👍🏻

@Valkyrie-OD1115 You dont speak for "the rest of us". Ben doesn't have to do anything about his health because "we are counting on it" or because he should be taking some strangers unsolicited advice. You are counting on it. Why? Instead of judging his private lifestyle, just enjoy his content. Simple. Its not your job to save everyone from your perceptions of how they should live their lives. Its not needed or wanted. Also, if you knew anything about him, from all the years of his content creation, you would know that he already has lost a great deal of weight, and looks amazing as he is, which has nothing to do with people like you coming along with altruistic "caring" advice and expectations of him fulfilling a purpose for your personal beliefs. He does it for himself.

Thanks Ben and Youseff for the wonderful content! The Gaza Plateau is filled with secrets. It is all so utterly fascinating! All of these massive shafts and underground passages. It's crazy that the so-called "Egyptologists" and gov't officials in charge of this site haven't thoroughly explored and documented this place, and many others in Egypt. They seem to be more intent at concealing this site than exploring it. The Standard Model of human civilization is clearly holding us back. Keep up the good work.....maybe some day we will get to the Truth.
