4:25 I'm not sure if it's intentional but historically, the Spitfire's engine had a habit of stalling/dying mid-flight when flying upside down. This was because the throttle valve would get flooded with fuel whenever the fighter is upside down and black puffs of smoke would shoot out the engine because of it, which is why German pilots quickly caught up this flaw and used it to their advantage during dogfights

Yup. The characteristics of a carburettor. The fuel would flood the carburettor and the lack of air to fuel mix would reduce the combustion causing a cut out. The Me-109 had a fuel injection system, so the fuel to air mix was injected right into the engine. Had its pros and cons

The spitfires shown in the video are marked as Eagle Squadrons. They comprised polish, Canadian, and American volunteers. Interestingly, the 71st Eagle Squadron transferred to the US air forces when the US entered the war. In 1942 it became the 4th fighter group and it continued flying Spitfires until 1943. The group exists in the US Air Force as the 4th operations group, and individual squadrons including the 333d-336th squadron, 334th which still uses the eagle logo to this day.

Just download war thunder would recommend plus it’s free. Depends on what settings you use though can depend on how good you are at the game. I pretty trash cause I use full realistic controls but much harder than gta for sure 10/10
