HUGE Changes To Cedar Point Halloweekends Coming in 2023!!!!

Wow! Thank you both for your guidance! My family is planning our first trip to Cedar Point for the Halloweekends! We are so excited! Any recommendations for first-timers?

Midnight bring new may get a long line so I’d get either there, freak show, or cornstalkers early. The haunts are fun but not very good if you’re used to more extreme haunts. Maverick front row at night when all the fog from cut throat cove is going is amazing so try to do that if you can. They do a show at the main stage when they release the monsters in the evening, that’s pretty fun to check out.

Great Report Fellas. I love Halloweekends because it's a fun time to make friends. There's ghosts, goblins, killers, monsters, vampires, ghouls, and beasts, I love them all. I love how they just sneak up on you and make jabronis scream - they are my role models. Halloweekends Tip - Autumn Nights can get chilly, but Fireball Whisky is always HOT

My gf and I are going the 15th of September and bought fright lane passes cause it’s so busy every day year so we decided to try the fright lane pass for the first time

Thanks for the info! Going on my birthday still and hopefully the crowds are small! We will go back the next day as well! 21st and 22nd!! I know I know, you’ll be at Kings island🤣🤣. These members are determined to catch a ride with you guys one of these days! We are getting older and it’s tough to tolerate the looping and spinning! One ride on Maverick is it for me! Back to back probably would make me queasy 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah we always do opening day for kings island as well and they open the week after cedar point’s Halloweekends.

i’m going on the last weekend of september but mainly for the park not the haunted houses. do you recommend getting fast lane for the roller coasters for a saturday at the end of the month? should we expect a big crowd/long lines for roller coasters?

Saturdays for Halloweekends is easily the busiest time of year. Fast lane would probably be necessary. So you’d be going on the 30th?

I highly recommend fast lane. Last year, Halloweekends was so popular the roller coaster limes were 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Will any of you visit Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest this year? Idk how it stacks up to cedar points one, for I have only been to Kennywood’s but I’ve heard it said that while smaller Kennywood have done a better job at the frights than cedar point, but I can’t speak for how it stacks up myself cause I only been to Kennywood’s but that’s what I heard! From my experience Phantom Fall Fest is a really good and fun Halloween event and have been recognized as one of the best Halloween events in the country in the past

We love kennywood and have no doubt they do a great job. Unfortunately we didn’t make it there this season and we’re not sure if we’ll get a chance to for the Halloween season.

Get in line for freakshow or cornstalkers early, those get long lines. Thursdays are very slow days.

im scared excited. I am a hanuted house virgin. I have never been to a hanuted house or attraction. I got my gold pass just for this. I almost punched 1 person who jumped out without notice, and my military alertness kicked in and my fist was inches away from her nose, I went into combat bat mode, from being in battles overseas. now I try to avoid the scary places as much as possible, or face them eye to eye without fear. Well thank God you made it home and I thank you for your service sir. My 14 year old daughter was scared but I told her they can't touch you and she was like really and I said yes they can't touch you then she went through it no problem but with your combat and military background I would absolutely avoid haunts cuz like you said you react it's what you were trained to do. Anyway good luck sir.

I'm just going to keep it Real. The haunted houses at cp suck! They have the ability and means to make good haunts and yet they don't. I think I'm qualified to comment on this as I've worked at and have visited many haunts in the area.
