Love this book haul- everything is so beautiful and awesome! I loved Madeline as a kid too and those are gorgeous editions. The Night Circus bracelet and edition of Wuthering Heights are so beautiful too (both books I need to read) i love bookish candies too! And omg the SoC character bookmarks😍 I’m so happy you have the complete Raven Cycle series now! I have the entire series too- it’s one of my all time favorites. And last Christmas I received that beautiful Harry Potter collection too and I adore it!😍😍

The "Dumbledore's socks" cubes are for a wax melter! Basically, it's an alternative to candles. There's no flame, and the wax is melted by a little hot plate or lightbulb

I got a Gift Card for Amazon from my one brother and I bought a Jane Austen Coffee Mug and three books in the Series of Anne Of Green Gables. I still need to get the rest of the books in this series. I just got my Complete Classic Edition of Sherlock Holmes from Barnes and Nobles. It is just gorgeous and it also has Gold Edges too. Loved this video and it's great that you had an awesome birthday! Wuthering Heights is my favorite classic as well. Also, it's nice seeing a few booktubers pick up Slade House recently! Aaaand, I love that box set of Harry Potter as well! I got it for a gift a while back, and the cover art is so vibrant and gorgeous... I bought myself a few books (and received a few) for Christmas. I picked up Ariel by Sylvia Plath, a few Gail Tsukiyama books, a couple graphic novels (Saga and Ghosts), The Three Body Problem, The Scorpio Races, The Shadow of the Wind, Theodore Roetke poem collection, White Teeth, A Constellation of Vital Phenomena, Barsk, and Gold Fame Citrus. Plenty of books to read in 2017!

I screamed when you lifted up Fangirl, it's one of my all time favourite books because of how close it comes to a lot of people's realities and the things they do which people may find weird and was so so heartwarming for me

I read somewhere that great literature overcomes the language barrier and reading a translated edition of the Wuthering Heights as well as the English one was the perfect example of that... it's such a great winter read!

I bet you love December! Got quite a few books myself. It's the best. Love making and receiving care package types of gifts! Those candles are so adorable. Great shop name, too. Awesome haul! My husband actually forgot to get anything for me so to make up for it, he ordered the special illustrated edition of the first Harry Potter! It's super expensive and I told him he shouldn't, but it's on the way. I will have to be super careful with that one but I can't wait until it's here! I also ordered the 2nd regular illustrated HP because I wasn't sure if I'd get it as a gift or not so I waited. Gift to myself!

My favourite book that I got recently was ACOMAF by Sarah J Maas in the stunning US hardcover that I got for my 25th birthday (18th Dec). I've read ACOMAF already but my UK paperback is really beat up already from all the rereads lol. For Christmas one of the books I got was The Thousandth Floor by Katherine McGee. I'm so excited The give this a reread (I read it previously as a NetGalley arc).

The Avatar comics are fantastic and are wonderful continuations of the story. The Promise, The Search, the third one (I can't remember the title), and Smoke and Shadow, all flow as one continuous story for the most part, but The Search is by far the best.

You should read One Thousand White Women by Jim Fergus. It's really good! It's about a girl, May Dodds, who was institutionalized by her family in the 19th century because she had had two children with the man she loved (they weren't married and her father thought he wasn't wealthy enough) She then goes out West as part of a bride exchange for a tribe of Indians in Hope of one day integrated the "savages" into normal society. It's really great!
