Happy Belated Birthday! I totally get you when you talk about going out book shopping with your bookish friend. I'm the same way! Two friends that I've had since grade school are also really into reading so our usual hangout days revolve around going out to eat and then going to thrift stores and books a million to look for new books! Or talking about books. Or watching booktube videos. Or make booktube videos. Or go to book signings/bookcon. lol. Great haul! I like the UK version of Mistborn so much and way better than the American covers. Also, Hamlet is my favorite Shakespeare play as well! :) That's a really nice coloring book and I'm always tempted to buy it every time I see it in Target. lol. Nice video! So glad I just found your channel. :) *Goes and watches a bunch of your videos...

I am obsessed with those editions of Jane Austen's novels! I own three of them and hopefully can collect the other three soon! I also got A Darker Shade of Magic as a Christmas gift this year. I can't wait to read it! Great haul and happy belated birthday! I'm a new subscriber :)

I got the second Falling Kingdoms book by Morgan Rhodes, Bound by Spells by Stormy Smith, 2 manga boxsets (One Peice #2 and Ouran High School Host Club), Lair Of Dreams by Libba Bray, Timeless and Heatless, both by Gail Carriger, Reawakened by Colleen Houck, The Heart Of Betrayal by Mary E Pearson, and with Waterstones vouchers I got Trial By Fire by Josephine Angelini and Ice Like Fire by Sarah Raasch so I've got A LOT of books lol.

Such a profuse amount of great books!!! You are clearly well loved. I saw many that look intriguing, and that Hamlet is STUNNING!!!! I do not need another Shakespeare copy, but I would buy that in a heart beat because I do not have an illustrated Hamlet. Also, I am glad that you got the hard back Harry Potter collection. I love mine, but have actually been picking up paper back copies at the thrift store for when my boys read them. All but three of my books are first editions, so I do not want them to get ruined. I did splurge and by my seven-year-old the illustrated copy though, which we are currently reading. He and my five-year-old are both loving it so much. I think that the illustrations really help keep their attention.

I just read You and it was such an interesting read, I really enjoyed it. It's kinda "a love it or hate it" type of book. That edition of War and Peace is so gorgeous!

Also for Christmas I got The Young Elites by Marie Lu and Winter by Marisa Meyer. And with some money I got from my grandma I bought city of bones! :) it's sadly not the original cover but it's fine. Maybe after I read the whole series and if I want to (which it's not a big deal so idk) I might get the original cover just so it will match the rest

A lot of my friends have December birthdays and they hate it because they said their friends and family members cheat them out of a gift they get them one and say it's for both christmas and birthday. Do u have this problem? I met the authors of illuminae and they r amazing. I am currently reading it and loving it I hope u enjoy it. That's awesome getting that book signed when u were thinking about wanting it signed it's like fate :]. I have heard nothing but praise for the saga series I don't know if I want to read it. I really don't like comic/graphic novels and I heard saga has some adult content which I don't like hmm maybe I'll give it a try. Can u show us ur harry potter shelf! I wanna see it!
