I actually fell the same about the Yummie oil, it’s nice but it’s light like you said lighter than the others. And to be honest its smells like an oil I have from Land Of Aahs called Vanilla Dreams which is their inspiration of Vanilla skin and it’s a goood inspiration. So if anyone is looking for Yummie save your coins and get the Land Of Aahs Vanilla Dreams instead. They are very similar, It’s a fraction of the price and better imho🤷🏽‍♀️

And this is why I am very particular about what I order from Canvas Beauty..I loved the glaze initially but then they started turning or smelling waxy. I do prefer the drops out of all her products. But then i ordered Holiday Bae smelled it and was like yum this is creamy cozy..I know all the feels went to read the notes and she has all these tropical notes 😂 she definitely needs a quality control department..I am so shocked about brown sugar babe..but never be apologetic about ur honesty. It’s ur experience and ur truth..period poo☺️

I'm with you on BSB. I picked up 4-4 oz oils & 2 perfume oils on black Friday. I could've kept my money! 🙄 At this price point, I expected more. Both of my perfume oils are leaking from the tops, and the body oils are very lightly scented. They are decent products; but at this price point, for the size, I expected a more "luxury" product.

Hello Vicki. Regarding Canvas Beauty. I was on that live for the entire time. It was NERVE racking. I HATE the Very Very Vanilla. I have it in the glaze and the butter. I paid the full price for the butter. I spent $450+. I will never purchase any of her body glazes/butters any more. I must say I like her body drops and body washes but again I will not repurchase . Yes, I got sucked in for real. 😢. Have you heard of Kandykiss Cosmetics?. I LOVE her products. The price point is great. The scents are amazing. The butters are very moisturizing to my skin. I have several scents from her line and I will continue to purchase. Must better than Canvas Beauty. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed. Blessings ❤️❤️

You said it right, an expensive experiment. I ordered my 1st body oil from bsb a few weeks ago, Milk, which is inspired of commodity milk and it does smell just like it, but it wasn’t beast mode, but it did last. Lady Luck is going to be my next purchase. VDBIR is my baby, so to hear you say if we like the intense we would like bsb made me hopeful to try it. It’s weird they don’t smell the same when the website has the same notes for the oil/perfume oil. My 1st purchase with skin potion and I’m lil disappointed on the yummie, not what I expected. It smells similar to commodity milk. It smells just like bsb body oil😏. Enjoyed this haul!

I too bought the Very Very Vanilla buttercream and returned it. I know a lot of people were upset that their buttercream orders got cancelled but this scent in particular did smell rancid and like spoiled milk. There is no way I would put that on my skin. The formulation of ingredients were way off. It simply was not a tested and good product in my opinion. The other butter creams were good.

I do think they did the right thing by cancelling the orders that weren’t packed but the bottom line is no one checked those products in the first place. They could’ve circumvented this whole thing by not including the bad batches altogether

Hey Vicki.. I love these hauls🥰🩷 I wanna try the BSB AI collab too cus I love Amour Infinite but it doesn’t last.. I over spray and I have the all over body spray but I can’t smell it after a couple hours.. Navitus is too expensive to not be able to smell the scent.. so maybe the BSB oil will help.. I have the body creams coming soon.. but Chi Chi just did a video saying she couldn’t smell those either 😂 I have the candles and Ambrosia was scentless ‼️ 🤦🏾‍♀️🙄

I tried the cookies n clean face scrub from Fenty when it first came out and didn’t like it at all. Which is a shame because I love the face mask. It had a weird chemical smell to it. I used the entire bottle but definitely wouldn’t repurchase. I much prefer the cherry dub face wash from Fenty. That’s also my favorite from the LE sol de Janeiro fragrances that released this past summer. It pairs perfectly with Ariana Grande Cloud Pink.

I love BSB body oils. I recently tried a perfume oil in the Black Friday sale and it’s not for me. I got their interpretation of Escapade Gourmande, which it didn’t smell like at all to me. The bottle was also defective. I returned it. I will say they have really good customer service but I will only purchase body oils going forward.

I also got that Canvas Beauty Very Very Vanilla body cream and was SURPRISED about the color and texture. I didn’t know about that trick of putting the cream in the fridge. I actually tried it on my skin when I first got it and it’s ahight. Not great but not bad. I think the ick you have with the smell is that maple syrup note. I too think I’m going to cut my losses and just trash it b/c it’s just a WEIRD product. She missed the mark with these for sure and we fell into the hype.

I bought four of BSB and the scents are amazing but they don't Last long at All . I Requested a Refund for my just peachy it had a strong chemical smell and it broke my skin out.. I tried canvas beauty also im just glad I only got the travel sizes they smell like wax I think I'm done jumping on the bandwagon cause the two viral companies have been disappointing..

I’ve never bought anything from Canvas Beauty. I don’t support people just because they are black. I look for professionalism and quality. Stats show that 74% of businesses fail when they grow too fast, and honestly, she seems to be doing way too much too quickly. There’s a lot of room for mistakes, and it doesn’t look like there’s much focus on quality control. I’m not wishing her business any harm, but she really needs to slow down.
