Oh man, my mojo has been lost for several months now. I think that is normal. But it's MerMay and I am getting myself back in to it! Sparkling Magical watercolors are amazing. Can't wait to use them on my mermaids! Oh my gosh I love the bookmarks and sticker. I gotta finish the video later. Past my bedtime. lol!

3:22 Oh, I didn’t realise they were light/dark markers… interesting! I, too, have the 2x24 Triblend sets (plus some 40 Copics and a cheaper 120 watercolour dual pen set) tho so I don’t “need” more markers 😂

I have read almost all of Throne of Glass! SJM is a great author! I really liked reading the first one first because reading Assassin’s Blade seemed sort of spoilery to me and I don’t like spoilers 😂. I am also SO HAPPY to see others discovering MrsbutterD and her amazing artwork! I definitely bought all of the pdfs as soon as I found her website.

I like the first several books in that series. I stopped reading Sarah Maas when I read the first and a few chapters in the second book in one of her other series. That one just rubbed me the wrong way. I get fed up with storylines that count on only huge obstacles that seem impossible to overcome or betrayal to drive the story forward.

Have you tried to color over the Funcils acrylic paint with colored pencils? I was wondering if they would work for hiding the hidden objects in the Mythographic early books. Everything else I've tried, the pencils didn't want to go over the top.

One more thing. I heard the series on audiobook because it was much more comfortable for me in terms of position, instead of reading it. If you want to try, audible, gives you a free audiobook when you try for the first time.

@@kristinasartcorner My favorite book series is Outlander. I first saw the first 3 seasons on Netflix. Didn't know it was a book series. Then read all the books. The main series, the novellas, short stories, etc and now have the coloring books! ;) It will take you months to go through all the thousands of pages but what an amazing ride it is. I was a storytelling professor so it's just amazing the way Diana Gabaldon constructs the story, characters and worlds. If you like history, romance, drama and a tiny bit of fantasy because there is some time travel involved), I think you will like it. XXX

@@kristinasartcorner The TV show did a fantastic job in adapting the books. But if you read the books, you'll fall more in love with the characters. For example Lord John (my favorite character). In the series, he seldom appears, but in the books you'll be able to see how the relationship with Jamie changes from enemies to becoming family. His sense of humor is amazing. His family that is also so rich in terms of character, like Jamie is. In the books you'll see all the sides. My last big trip was actually to Scotland and I saw some of the places were they are shooting the series. They have lots of Outlander tours and are always full! :)
