I started doing my own nails on and off 6 years ago and I first started with a set like this. For someone who wants to get into nails and acrylic and other nail arts and designs this is a decent kit. The products aren’t the highest quality but it’s a great for beginners. I will give a small tip if you really struggle using the Acrylic powder,liquid and brushes keep in mind that once you get use to that acrylic it is so much easier to use higher quality acrylic and monomer. And it’s always nice to have so many design and glitter options when you start working on harder designs

I love how these turned out your mix looks amazing. Great job for your first time. For future use acrylic does not require a base coat. I know you used a peel off base but I wonder if they'd last long using the base coat?! I remember when I started out I was using really crappy brushed too and once I bought my 100% kolinsky brushes it became A LOT easier to move the product! I recommend getting the monomer from E. Den’s Rose Nail Heaven! I use it in a tiny apartment and it doesn’t stink up the whole place. It also works well w every acrylic I’ve tried it w :)

That custom glitter ✨ mix is beautiful 🤩 I’m the same way with acrylic but I read young nails monomer is very low odor and with an air purifying fan the odor can be almost non existent. NCE (nail career education) on KZbin sells an odorless monomer you might want to try. Acrylic looks so satisfying and can be so beautiful so it’s something I hope to do more of myself and would love to watch but totally understand the smell 👃 issue.

Hey friend I'm so happy you chose a different monomer thank goodness I was worried before I watched 😆. Monomers with no labels and come from Amazon in kits like this typically are MMA. Yes it is illegal and harmful but they still get away with selling it. I love how you made your own Glitter acrylic too so pretty! I purchased this kit when I first started doing my own acrylics. I ended up mixing the acrylics into the glitters and purchasing a different brand acrylic and monomer. I also epoxied the practice fingers to a decorative piece of wood to hold them while I used them to make press on nails I sold until I purchased 15 actual nail stand sets lol. I still have it somewhere. And the brushes are long gone but still have the dotting tools and slowly am using up the rhinestones. And have multiple pairs of the tweezers it came with lol. Oh and the nail remover pads were weak. Oh and my monomer had leaked in the box and smelled horrible. The toe separators and nail tools disappeared and the tip cutters broke. The tip were actually strong but I never used the natural. And the forms never stuck to even the paper they were on😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think my favorite part was the top coat and base coat

My favorite odorless acrylic monomer is by Sheba Nails. They have their own site but you can get it on Amazon. With odorless monomer and powder you won't have any odor. It doesn't smell like anything. I've learned to actually like it better than the smelly stuff. I've been practicing to take my cosmetology reinstatement exam. I had a a license for a while but it expired when I was in the Navy...now I want it reinstated. The Tennessee State Board requires you to use an odorless system. I've tried a few, and like Sheba Nails best. Their kit is not as fancy, but it is affordable. It dries a little slower and leaves a tacky layer once dried. All odorless acrylic systems do. You can use alcohol to rub it off and or gently buff. It will feel and look like regular acrylic once it is done.
