Leah Magdasing You are proud to be part of and complicit with the human excrement who masquerade as Roman Catholic clergy and its administrators who have raped, molested and even murdered innocent children with impunity, all done with the protection and denial from the abomination of humanity featured above and his minions? something to be proud of indeed, very well done, just like the rest of the Catholic flock, you certainly have been! Hold on to your rosary beads very tightly, say a prayer and a few hail mary's, not for Pope whatever his name is or his vile priests, but for all the victims and their families world wide! I bet you still wonder why the Roman Catholic church is reviled and its followers laughed at!

As a Church, we recognize our imperfections. Indeed, temptation knows no boundaries. We are wounded by scandals, corruption, and indifference. Perhaps, we can start all over again as a Church with renewed faith, hope, and love. Some may say it's easier said than done but can't we?

2000 years and the Church that our Lord and Jesus Christ founded and die for, still exists. You sir/madam just like me will come and go. No one have ever died for me and my sins. But Jesus. Whether they crow was 40, 12, , 100, 150,000...…...someone showed up. They gained something while you lost nothing...…...may be. Congratulations to my Pope, brave and courageous enough in this trying times to visit Ireland and pay due respect to victims of a few rotten apples within the church. Collectively we are sorry too.

This reminds me of a tree that was so huge with deep roots one of the roots ran underground to grow in another city, but people who were looking at this tree hated it they cut it down out of hatred not knowing that the similar tree was already born else where, this is the big tree with deep roots those who r trying so hard to chop it down they're already too late. Even if there was 2 people or 300 0000 its doesn't matter as long as the truth is dealt with promptly.

"And he (Collection of Papal clergy priests) deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs ( Catholic Antichrist miracles) which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast (Antichristendom Papal Antichrist kingdom) telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast (image is idol which is Eucharist/Mass Wafer they believe through transubstantiation the bread literally becomes Jesus they turned bread into idol this is THE Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel and Jesus in Matthew 24. 70AD destruction was a type of desolation but not THE Abomination of Desolation. Notice how Jesus uses the word THE basically he's alluding to the worst idol which is the Eucharist Mass bread) who was wounded by the sword and lived. (Rome wounded when it became Christian empire it was healed when paganism was revived under Roman Catholicism)" The word APOSTATE in the Greek equals the number of the beast and APOSTATE is a name of a person and aka name of name of the beast. Specifically people would fall away from the true church and embrace the doctrine of demons which includes the worship of saints, relics and sepluchres. Thessalonians talks about the Great Apostasy where people will become APOSTATE - Revelation 13:14 NKJV

We know that Christ established a Church, visible and unified, and we know that His Church is His body, with Him as the head, the Bible says that Christ gave His authority to His Church, Luke 10:16, John 20:21-22, Luke 22:29 etc., Matt. 10:1 "He called to Him His twelve Apostles and gave THEM AUTHORITY"...and He SENT them into the world, He consecrated Himself so that THEY could be consecrated in HIS TRUTH, John 17:17-19 "Consecrate them in TRUTH. Your word is TRUTH. As you SENT me into the world, so I SENT THEM into the world. And I consecrate myself for them, so that THEY also may be consecrated in TRUTH." According to the heresies of protestantism Christ's authority must have been revoked at some unknown time in the early Church when she supposedly became morally and doctrinally corrupt. Some (falsely) believe this corruption came in the 4th century with the Emperor Constantine, even though NO proof has ever been shown. The Catholic position is that Christ's Church has NEVER lost her divine authority that Christ gave her, and corruption has never entered her teachings, nor can they, since Jesus promised her that she would be guided by His Holy Spirit of Truth, and Jesus promised to be with her until He returns. History proves, historical documents PROVE that Christ's Church did indeed exercise her divine authority, appointing successors, Bishops, of which there is documentation of every Church, and every Bishop, from today all the way back to an Apostle, documented PROOF, from the first Bishop of Rome, St. Peter, to the first Bishop of Jerusalem, St. James, to the first Bishop of Antioch, St. Peter, who appointed St. Ignatius (2nd Bishop), and so it goes, EVERY Bishop appointed by EVERY Apostle, in EVERY Church, as it spread, right to present day, this doctrine known as Apostolic Succession was one of the most fiercly guarded doctrines of the early Church, a Bishop HAD to PROVE with paperwork, an unbroken succession to an Apostle. Pope St. Clement (while St. John was still alive), as well as St. Ignatius, a disciple of St. John, referred to Christ's Church as the "Catholic Church" in the first century and the second, by this time there had already been 5 Popes. Pope St. Clement I, A.D. 88-97: "Heretical teachers pervert Scripture and try to get into Heaven with false keys, for they have formed their human assemblies later than the Catholic Church . From this previously-existing and most true Church, it is very clear that these later heresies, and others which have come into being since then, are counterfeit and novel inventions." (Epistle to the Corinthians). “Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is [administered] either by the Bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the Bishop shall appear, there let the multitude [of the people] also be; even as, wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church.” (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 [A.D. 107]). From the beginning Christ's Church has passed down her divinely revealed doctrines through her Magisterium, and in every century she fought the false beliefs of the heretics who through their false doctrines would have destroyed Christianity. The Bible is infallible, protestants who try and interpret scripture are fallible, therefore, the best conclusion you can have is a fallible opinion of an infallible book. If the protestant position is true, then either Christ revoked the authority He gave to His Church, or Christ's Church has essentially changed from being a visible, unified, and hierarchically organized body to an invisible and purely spiritual organization. There is no scriptural evidence for the former and much against it, and in the latter case it becomes impossible to know to whom God has given the rightful authority to lead the Church. In truth, all protestants can point to is individual believers who are fallible, and may or may not meet in some local congregation, so the onus is on you to show when, where, and who was involved when Christ revoked His Divine authority that He gave to His Catholic Church, His body and Bride, or show proof that Christ has given any authority whatsoever to any protestant anywhere at any time. Christ and His Church are one, if you can't prove these two things, then you must know that Christ's Church teaches that there is NO salvation outside of her, since there is NO salvation outside of Jesus Christ, she teaches that a person can be saved by invincible ignorance, if they don't know about Jesus or His Church through no fault of their own, but that does not include those who reject Christ's Church and the TRUTH. The Catholic Church has been for 2000 years, and will be for all of eternity, the body and bride of Jesus Christ, PROVE that she is not.

The Early Church Fathers were the disciples of the 12 apostles, the disciples of the disciples of the 12 apostles, the disciples of the disciples of the disciples of the 12 apostles, etc. In short they were the Christian leaders who took charge of the Church following the death of the 12 apostles. They were not only taught by the 12 apostles, they were also first-hand witnesses to the creation of the Church worldwide. Most, if not all, were martyred by being crucified, beheaded, fed to the lions at the Roman Coliseum, boiled in oil, or skinned alive. They were the ones empowered by the Holy Spirit (John 16:13and 1 John 4:6), and who personally handed on the oral teaching of Jesus Christ, before the New Testament canon was created by the Catholic Church in the late 4th century, at the councils of Rome, Hippo, and Carthage. One of the great early ones, St. Clement, is actually mentioned in the bible in Philippians 4:3. None of these early Church Fathers just stood up and started preaching on his own. They followed the Biblical model in Acts of “being sent” (Romans 10:15). Who sent them? Jesus sent the 12 apostles (“as the Father sent me, so I send you”). The 12 apostles then laid hands on others and sent them (Acts 6:6). This apostolic tradition has been followed for 2000 years by the Catholic Church, who continuously lays hands on new disciples in every generation since Jesus walked the earth, and then sends them to the four corners of the earth to preach the good news of Jesus Christ, to forgive sins in His Name, and to bring Jesus in the Eucharist to us all. We, the members of the 21rst Century, owe these early Church Fathers a lot of gratitude, because they died horrible deaths in order to preserve and to hand on the Word of God to us today. A lot of Protestants ignore these early Christian leaders, preferring instead to believe that the history of Christianity began with Jesus and the 12 apostles, and then somehow skipped over 15 centuries to Martin Luther. That would be like saying that the history of the United States began with George Washington in 1776, and then skipped over to Franklin Roosevelt in 1932. For some reason, a lot of Protestants will refuse to read any of the writings of the early Church Fathers, proudly proclaiming to everyone that “Those writings are not in my Bible!” But they will read the writings of Martin Luther, Billy Graham, and Max Lucado, even though those aren’t in the Bible either! They will even read and believe the heretical "Left Behind" books of LaHeye and Jenkins (there is no "secret" rapture of believers mentioned anywhere in the bible. When it happens, according to the bible, there will be trumpet blasts, and every eye will see Jesus). The writings of the early Church Fathers elucidate what is taught in the Bible, so that it’s no mystery whether or not the Eucharist is the actual body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ, whether or not Mary is the new Eve, or whether or not there is a purgatory. After all, the early Church Fathers were taught by the 12 apostles, handed on the faith to the next generation, and were then martyred for their actions! Why someone would trust more in the writings of people coming along 15 centuries later over their writings is very strange indeed. Some of the greatest early Church Fathers are mentioned below. To read about them, just click on their name. St. Polycarp St. Iraneaus St. Justin Martyr St. Ambrose St. Ignatius of Antioch St. Cyril of JerusalemSt. Athanasius St. Clement of Rome St. Augustine St. Jerome Some great writings of these early Church Fathers are below: The First Epistle of Clement to the Corinthians The Epistle of Polycarp to the Phillipians The Epistle of Ignatius to the Ephesians The Martyrdom of Ignatius The First Apology of Justin Martyr Iranaeus Against Heresies Confessions of St. Augustine So don't get trapped in the Protestant philosophy that actually says that if it isn't in the Bible, then it can't possibly be true. If that were truly the case, then none of Martin Luther's writings can be seen as true, because they aren't in the Bible either! Take the time to read what our Catholic martyred ancestors had to say. After all, we are all united through time and space in the Eucharist. St. John says in his gospel that if we eat the body of Christ and drink His blood, then Christ abides in us, and we in Him! And because we are all united in Christ, we are all united with each other. And once non-Catholic Christians start to read these writings of the early Church Fathers, they will soon discover that there were NO Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, Mormons, Episcopaleans, etc., anywhere in the Early Church. Those traditions of men were all started centuries later, based on what people thought Jesus' Church was all about, rather than on what it actually was.

ikm64 Which part of *"If any man touch one of these my little ones, it were better for that man that he had never been born"* do you not understand?!! From the mouth of The Founder. FFS!!! If you really want to attack the Pope and Catholic clergy (as you clearly do), what you really should be asking is _ where is excommunication when we NEED it? If John Paul II had excommunicated all the guilty on *Day One* when it hit his desk, well _ I'm obviously not saying it would have solved all, or even any, of the victims' practical problems. But it sure as s*** would have sent a different message. I wonder why I've *never* seen this suggestion (which, yes, is a very black mark against the Vatican) from *any* of the Catholic Church's enemies? Could it possibly be that they secretly *don't* want the problem solved, or the victims given justice, because they're enjoying the issue so much?

Its about time to have a Pope either from Africa or Asia. Cardinals who are Caucasian are less favourable because of the current controversy on the abuses. Anyhow let us pray for their conversion. The Pope has to do something to the abusers..yes they can be forgiven by a fellow ordained priest but they have to retribute also like putting them behind bars plus laicization as necessary.

After the exposure of decades of absolutely horrific abuses, abuses that were covered up, abusers protected, reporters punished. I don't see any sanity in simply saying " oops, sort about that, our bad, how about you just forgive us" . they have not offered any compensation to their victims. No help in prosecuting the offenders. No investigations to find the offenders who were not caught by the government and turn them in to authorities. No one has been fired. They had to know for ever that these things were going on and, were happy to not only allow the abusers to continue but, actually assisted them by covering up for them. This is not a GODLY orginistion, it's clearly run by antichristian men and women. These abuses continue today on a worldwide scale within this organisation. Wake up and stop all who support and enable them. P.O.P.E. Protector Of Pedophiles Everywhere. Descusting. Forgive you, my eye.

Barry Phipps The 'foundations' of the Catholic church, child rapists, child molesters and even murderers of innocent children protected for centuries by secrecy and denial. Then we have Pope whats his name who visited Ireland to increase the wanning contributions to the Vatican with a pathetic apology on behalf of his church and the human excrement who masquerade as its clergy and administrators. The result, a foregone conclusion, no affirmative action, 400 years too late and the population appeased. What a shameful reflection on the population and its leaders to allow the abuse of defenceless children right under your noses AND with little complaint or protest and to welcome this human abomination and his minions, classy stuff, you must be very proud of your faith. Then you want the loyalists in Northern Ireland to join you in a united Ireland, to swap one group of useless British monarchy and government for another group controlled by the Roman catholic church, its vile clergy and the papal monarchy, are you mad? good luck with that. What a choice they have, I bet they fall off their chairs laughing every time a United Ireland is mentioned. Contact Father Patrick Loveschildren or Father Shamus Comesquickly and ask them what child abuse means, any catholic clergy will do, but be careful, don't leave any of your children alone with them. I bet you still wonder why your church is reviled and its devout followers laughed at.

They will be judge by the sick things they did to many people by Jesus. But as they are here in the body they will be judge by their lies and how they are misleading the truth about our Lord savior. Anyone who will not turn away from their evil and wicked ways will taste the same punishment. Read the word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you all things. Read the King James Bible it is the cannon not the catholic bible they have taken and added to it. The problem is so called Christians of a certain bent can put on a good show and make it look very impressave, but this is not the reality, Catholic, Protestant or Evangelical, they can do a cover-up when it suits them they are past masters of this. I have personal experience to some extent, but the R.C. church stooped to a very low level with their abuse of children etc for decades. Fine words will not bring closure, it must be action. By their 'fruit' they are known Matthew 7. Books could be written!!

Jesus Christ is the head of the church 'The Chief cornerstone, not Peter' Petros, meaning pebble or little stone (Peter). Petra (Rock. Jesus Christ) meaning foundation stone Matthew 16:18-19. So those who believe solely in the 'finished work of Christ' on the cross are priests, the 'priesthood' of all believers. There is no ministry called 'priesthood' in the list of Ephesians 4, or 'pope' for that matter.
@aughalough1
@aughalough1 6 жыл бұрын
Jesus did three things that established the framework of His Church. First, He chose humans to carry out His work. He appointed Peter to be the visible head of the Church. Jesus said to Peter, "You are Rock and on this rock I will build my Church." (Matthew 16: 18) Jesus said "build," as in to create a structure. Jesus built His structure on specifically chosen human beings Peter and the apostles. Second, Jesus gave Peter and the apostles the power and authority to carry out His work. "Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven."(Matthew 16:19; 18:18) "Receive the Holy Spirit, whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven, whose sins you retain, they are retained."(John 20:23) Third, Jesus gave Peter and the apostles commands as to what that work should be. At the last supper, He commanded, "Do this in memory of Me." (Luke 22:19) He commanded them to "Make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19), and to "Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) The Catholic Church is the only church that can claim to have been founded by Christ personally. Every other church traces its lineage back to a mere human person such as Martin Luther or John Wesley. The Catholic Church can trace its lineage back to Jesus Christ who appointed St. Peter as the first pope. This line of popes has continued unbroken for almost 2,000 years. God rules, instructs and sanctifies His people through His Church. Under her teaching office, the Catholic Church preserves the Word of God. She is the custodian, keeper, dispenser and interpreter of teachings of Christ. And she accomplishes this under the protection of the Holy Spirit.

ughalough1. Some of what you write here is true, but the 4th and much of the 5th paragraphs is definitely not true. The Roman Catholic church did not begin to emerge until the second or third century. Peter was never a pope, see my other comment again above. Please google errors of the Roman Catholic church and see what you find. In fact she persecuted those who upheld the true gospel as outlined in scripture. Read 'Foxes book of martyrs'. You will read there exactly what the R.C. church did to those who proclaimed the 'TRUE GOSPEL'! Do not heed the lies this church tells you how the true Church started. Also a church that has shielded paedophiles for decades if not centuries and to date has not truly repented of it's sins, cannot be the 'True Church of Christ'.
@aughalough1
@aughalough1 6 жыл бұрын
Ulster 1690, you do realized that 'Foxes book of martyrs 'is propaganda and is not history...also move on from reading jack chick comics...Actually the correct statement is Catholic not Roman Catholic. You will not find that on any official vatican documents as it is always Catholic. The protestants are the ones who added the name Roman to us.Not meant to scold only explain.But yes the Catholic Church the one Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church is the Church that Christ describes as being built on a rock and it is the rock solid teachings of the Church for 2,000 yrs that is proof enuff.He describes a house built on sand verses one built on Rock and there is where Simon's name is Changed to Rock and whether Kephas(Peter in Aramaic) means a small rock or large makes no difference as it is still rock.Then when one reads the parables one with proper understanding realize many of them if not all are describing his Church and Kingdom. Take Protestantism does not Christ say a house divided will not stand and Protestant's are proof of that or a good tree bearing both bad and good fruit or separating the weeds. Most Protestants think it was a personal directive for them but when read in the language of the time it was understood he was talking about his Church and what to expect

aughalough1. Interesting. So please explain these doctrines from a biblical perspective: Purgatory? Sinlessness of Mary - born without sin? Mary part of the Godhead? Praying to her? Confessing of sin to a man who claims to administer forgiveness? Statutes? bowing down to them - Praying to them? Infant baptism? as opposed to believers baptism by emersion? Praying for the dead? I'm certain there are more doctrines of the 'Roman Catholic Church' that are not scriptural, but at time of writing they do not come to mind. I find it interesting that you claim that: 'Foxes Book of Martyrs' is propaganda? Do please enlighten us out here as to why you make this claim?? By the way as an aside: Martin Luther was antisemitic, he also said that certain books of the bible were not part of the cannon, off the cuff I forget exactly which ones, but I believe 1 and 2 Timothy were part of that. Also Luther wanted to reform catholicism from within. 'catholic' simply means worldwide. Protestantism, is just as much a work of man as is 'catholicism'. I don't expect you to agree with this.
