That swirl is known as pearl swirl finish. It's mica mixed into the enamel, then mixed slightly. I like the pearl finish more than glitter because every pin is unique!

Frollo’s a great villain! Like Gaston and Mother Gothel and Lady Tremaine, he’s a “real” bad guy. No magic or powers, just a bad guy who could easily exist in our lives. (Alternatively; he’s actually really sympathetic in the novel. He’s only 36 and having a crisis of faith.)
