I never comment on DIY videos but girl that windmill is out of this world. It really looks legit. No one would ever know it didn't cost 400 bucks from Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn. It's fire.

Im not a farmhouse girl, but I love all 3 projects, especially the first one. I would use hot glue to hold the stones and then brush the mod podge over the stones for the glossy effect.

You can also use the foam board from Dollar Tree as the backing for your signs - that eliminates the need for the popsicle sticks and the kraft paper.

You are very crafty. Do you think of these things on your own? Your pretty talented, I can copy crafts of others but couldn't think of anything on my own.. I'll just keep watching you. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery!!! Thank you

OMG, I thought the Home above your bed was absolutely beautiful but the wheel blew me away and then the 3 succulent decor. You are fabulous.. as much as I love all three, the HOME is something that I would place in my bedroom. What is fascinating is the cost of your creations! Amazing to me because I am terrible when it comes to arts, crafts and keeping plants alive! Lol.... Thanks for a terrific vlog!

Your DIYs are always beautiful!! I have the smaller letters from Hobby Lobby so I’ll probably make a smaller version of this. They’re around a 5x7 size. Also, anyone making a lot of letter crafts and wanting a budget friendly version, I recommend using wood letters as a stencil anytime you buy them. Just lay them on foam board and trace them. That way you can cut them out and use them again and again. Before you go to use one, trace it on another piece of foam board every time and you’ll always have a spare if you need it.
@KraftsbyKatelyn4 жыл бұрын
That was so nice of you to share that!! I love tracing letters! ❤️❤️❤️

KraftsbyKatelyn I saw a version of your Home sign with the craft sticks as a picket fence and the white wire basket with flowers on Pinterest. I recognized it right away because I made a version of it as well and she had used all the same paint colors and flowers as yours, but used the word “Love” instead. Well, I followed that all the way to find that she had credited you! 😂😂 I felt like a stalker, but I just feel like people should give credit and it was obviously a version of yours. I was so proud of her, and relieved, to see she had added your tutorial!

Beautiful and creative as always. An alternative to the hook situation is to get an over the door or screw in hook the dollar tree sells. Since it is cheaper metal it snips off easily with steel cutters

Girl, i wish I could send you a picture. I made a wall windmill last year for only 3 dollars with items from dollar tree. Its my best project yet. Looks so real. I used poster board, dowels and the black plastic yarn which gives it that wire look through each blade.. For my rust look I used burnt umber. Ive even had to make some for friends. Great work

Awesome 😊. Another idea for rust is sprinkling cinnamon on top of spray paint on the areas you want extra after you do what you did.

I made a succulent dish from the dollar store stuff and used the exact rock you are using, I used the dollar store brand school glue, and it works fine, I used a big mixing bowl 🥣 and then dumped it in the dish I was using, it works great, did take a day or two to dry out completely!
