That’s interesting that your stores still have the glass straws. I live in the Midwest and we never did get them. I spoke with a few DT employees, including managers, and they said the West Coast stores probably got them because recycling and reusable items are a bigger thing on the West Coast than in the Midwest.

I live in the midwest & I only saw the glass straws at one of my DT's. I only found 2 packages, but one was missing some & the other one the box was all torn up. So, they gave them to me at a discount. Never seen them, since that one time.

What a great haul! I'm definately going to be on the hunt for those cool drinking glasses with the wood lids and also those little mini glass candy jars with the wood lids too! I think I'm going to try to get those little mini makeup brush sets for my preteen granddaughter...she would love those for sure. I have a question regarding those marinade bags....when i saw them, I immediately thought of storage bags....lol....so my question is...do you think they're thick enough that they could be used to store stuff in? I couldn't tell if they were thick plastic or thin. The nail glue you can buy in a bottle is really strong also the 100 piece nail clear are really nice also if you come across the fake nail trimmer BUY IT works as well as an expensive one which I have used before. 😊

If prices goes up, I'll just be more cautious on what I buy. Somethings may still be worth the price & other not. I hope they separate the different price items or put prices on items. I know some of my DT's already mix items in with a $1.25 & not priced. It's a pain when you think something is $1.25 & you get to the register & it rings up for more. I'll tell the person it was in with the $1.25 items & if they don't change the price I just tell them I don't want it. Sometimes I'll have multiples of that item or several items. This means more work on the workers, b/c they have to put the stuff back on the shelves. At others stores if items aren't priced, most of the time I just won't buy the item.

Those “Compostable Straws” aren’t compostable in backyard Composting 😂😂 THEN, 😂 it says there really aren’t many Industrial Compost Plants So…… 😂 I was laughing with a few people in DT yesterday over those straws lol Sold as COMPOSTABLE yet………. They’re not actually compostable 😂 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦‍♀️🙄😂 I didn’t get them because I wasn’t sure if they tasted like paper. I hate paper straws! So are they “like” plastic or paper? 😂
