This is one of the best hauls I've ever seen! I think One Hour Photo is considered a thriller but it's a horror movie to me. It has one of the scariest jumpscares I've everr seen. Such an amazing movie. Robin Williams just goes for it!

So many great picks! I blame Poltergeist for my ongoing hatred of clowns. I love One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. I highly recommend the book. I think The Chief is one of my favourite characters in a novel. I think that Sinister is the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. My very unflappable husband saw it in the theatre with his equally stoic friend. They found each other gripping each other’s arm at one point. So good :-)

Amazing haul! I find it difficult to find horror/thriller DVDs at secondhand stores in New Zealand, but you have a few of my faves in there! Also, used to have the biggest crush on Josh Hartnett when I was in high school, love him in The Faculty.

Salvage on that 4 movie pack was surprisingly better than i thought. While low budget and a bit confusing most of the way it really pays off once things fall into place.

Epic haul! I find myself buying more dvds lately too. (Mainly 2000s gems like Forsaken, The Uninvited, Boogeyman and They) Loved Sinister and even Sinister 2. Haircut is amazing too! I've added session 9 and Dramcatcher to my watchlist. Oh also highly recommend Eyes Wide Shut haha

Have a recommendation for you. Project Wolf Hunting. It's a Korean horror action movie. Hope you like unapologetic gore. Makes Kill Bill look like E.T. but it was really good

On having time to look it up, War of the Worlds the movie is based on HG Wells novel of the same name, Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds is based on another HG Wells novel, The Time Machine. In case you were interested. 👽

the twist of the village holds up on 2nd viewing because then you realize this town, founded with the goal of avoiding violence, has failed. and instead of violence, they've replaced it with holding these people captive, telling them there's evil hedgehogs in the woods. when the citizens should really just be horrified by the founders of the village. also, how dare you blaspheme dreamcatcher. it's great yet kinda terrible. but so charming and fun. kinda tough not to like, tbh.

Love your passion ! I also can't resist a good book/dvd store to snoop around to find some neat stuff ! Great picks, Poltergeist is one of my childhood faves, Eye for an Eye is also a good one, did you see Not Without My Daughter with Sally Field ? Love the director of Apollo 18, did you see his first movie King of the Hill ? Highly recommended !
