In this dramatic footage, several Russian armoured tanks go up in flames after being destroyed in a huge attack.

It's a unique feature of Ruzzian tanks. It has to do with where they store the ammunition, and how quickly it cooks off if there's even the smallest fire in the tank. It also doesn't help that most of their tanks are not equipped with fire extinguishing and suppression equipment. Russian philosophy of warfare is that people on both sides are expendable as long as the country's leader is not. It's been that way for three thousand years, back to the time of the Rus Vikings, and it is very strongly engrained into the psyche of most Ruzzians, just like rape, pillaging, burning, and murdering is.
