I am actually jealous of you! I bet you know that palette so well & perceive every nuance! I have overdone it a bit, tbh by a lot, and I do love my collection but I remember when having one palette at a time was normal and I bet having a very top quality one makes things easy but also very fun!

Since I got into indie brands declutters are not happening. I have let go of my abh, some UD, some CP. But, Adept, Nomad, ND, Menagerie, Sydney Grace and Ensley Reign are all staying!

Ooooo noooo, Harry!! I love my Harry Potter palette- it went with us to Florida when we took our oldest to Hogwarts for her eleventh birthday. Some of the colors are a little finicky, but I sure love it!

I’m so glad you kept your Laura Gellar palette! I just bought it (found it at TJ Maxx). I really try to stay conservative with eyeshadows because I could really go bonkers if I didn’t demonstrate a modicum of restraint! 😂 I hope you’ll make more videos with some of the palettes you decided to keep so we can enjoy them again with you.😊🎉

This was very satisfying to watch, especially since the palettes that weren't getting used got decluttered. I've never heard an excuse for keeping something unused during a declutter that made sense. That's just giving yourself more work of reorganizing/cleaning and mental stress of visual clutter for no reason.

oh no not the Safari one! I think I decluttered the Alter Ego dupe too. I love Juvia's Place but I don't use them bc I use ones similar with a mirror I like the Alter Ego Sakura more than the Retro Glam I got crazy cheap on Ipsy. I tried the ND Gold, decided Empowered has enough gold & more options. I take the colors I like out of ColourPop & make my own palettes with them.. Melted Chroms from Essence awesome, need to put mine where I'll use it. This was awesome .... thank you. Watching all the time I could almost guess which you'd save. You're Declutter was the best DeStress video I've seen in ages. You're awesome, we all adore you and learn so much!!

Mel palette was most surprising, but i got rid of the enduring love palette and think that would shock people. Though im tempted to reorder it. I feel i should declutter more but im also tempted to add unbreakable bond.

EL is my favorite palette, but considering the big SG fan that I am, I have never picked up Tiny Marvels though I have gone back and forth on it for a few years. I think it's really nice but I don't think I would wear all the colors to be honest. EL is more suited for me. So if I haven't picked up at this point I probably won't.

I do not watch declutters normally, abundance triggers my covet drive lol, but I’m in a new phase with makeup (pretty satisfied with my collection, and every time I tip into having so much I forget about some, it causes me too much anxiety) AND Mandy is so similar to myself in outlook that I am hoping to learn a lot!

I got rid of the SG Heaven and Earth and Tiny Marvels pallet too! I loved the packaging of Heaven and Earth and the formula was gorgeous, but it just wasn't for me. And one thing I noticed was Tiny Marvels is best for hazle eyes so my hazle eyed daughter gor that one and it looks a million times better on her than it did on me. It does feel good to make space.

Naked vs Tartlette in Bloom...I think Naked is better quality, but Tartlette in Bloom is still sold today and still up there with Mario Master Mattes, all the Patrick Ta, and ND Glam as palettes most beauty influencers have and use. That said, to this day, my Naked palette still gives great looks.

Alter Ego has much prettier packaging than ND. I’m tempted by their Wildwood, because people are saying it’s just as good as Yucca! The SG California Coast looks like their new bridal palette. Great job!

I hit my late 30’s and have basically pulled a Shelbey Wilson-I only buy one and done shadows now or shadow sticks. Eyeshadow pallets used to be my bread and butter of makeup and the number 1 thing I spent money on. They just sit in a drawer now. 😢

Can you pop out the colors that you really use and create a new palette in a different container? I find that I keep reaching for neutral colors and never use the others. I stopped buying pallets and just get singles when I need new. My eyes are blue/green and I know what colors work for me.

Please people, do not bug creators about how they discard. As someone from the nonprofit side, while there are a few organizations, esp in big cities, who can utilize that kind of donation, it’s actually a huge time requirement for the nonprofit, and very difficult to distribute fairly, efficiently, & keep ppl happy. And the majority of women, even those who wear makeup, keep pretty small collections, friends and family cannot always use it all. Cosmetics review, as a profession, requires waste and that’s just how it is unless you want to lead a whole economic revolution. They cannot be sending out their discards, please stop asking, hinting, begging, guilt tripping etc. I’m very anti-waste, but let’s just look at our own consumption OR look at everyone’s job, but pls stop hyper focusing on makeup declutters.
