A brown ink pad with a makeup sponge or sponge dauber would work well for adding color to the leaves. You could also use a reinker or a distress spray to add color.

Kailyn, for the garland, maybe you can try to dip dye it in some brown RIT dye. I don't know, but it might be worth a shot! It would be easier than painting individual leaves if it works!
