I am kind of slow learner :-). I have to watch something several times to understand it. So please keep doing this TA so I can fully understand it after some time (and more examples). Thank you :-).

Hey Keith, thanks for explaining that. I see the difference (that you often note) of the diff between investing and trading. I would say I was an investor then, layering in and out of high (est) probability opportunities and lowest risk, without putting hard stops in. I don't really have the time/opportunity (=awareness of price action) required to trade, not shorter time frames anyway. And most of the action goes on overnight in my part of the world whilst I'm dreaming of Lambos. Kidding. Peter

Hi Peter 👋, it's more difficult than you think to comprehend as essentially everything is a trade. I say just to simplify things, think of what your trying to get from the market and over what time period. If it's in and out based on swings, it's very much a traders mindset and scaling your position and building for a longer time horizon is more of an investers mindset. understanding how to read a price chart, in my opinion gives you a greater understanding of what your getting into and also what's fair value. Hope this answered OK mate 👍

One thing re. "there's a flip side to this..", if in trading scenario, would you ladder down with a lower % of remaining allocated capital each rung if there is a higher expectation of invalidation the lower price goes. In previous vids I see you do 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% accumulating on way down and distributing on way up. Is there a difference here between trading and investing?

trading, you stay day to day to buy/sell , investing is a long term 1-2-3 YEARS. If you dont have experience just buy when is low enough for you and just hold and sell when is ok for you

Thanks Peter, just combining this with your previous message too. One thing to be mindful of and a good rule to build in is how often you scale down on a position. Remember, diversification is key but you will also get winners and losers and the aim is for the winners to carry the losers overall, and then some. However it's important not to keep building too much on the less performing ones by keeping on scaling down and continuously adding to the position . A simple rule can be, you can only average down 3 times, or 4 times or whatever you feel works for you. It just stops continues building on underperforming assets. Happy New Year Peter 🎉 🎆

I think Ftm has more room to fall especially in this kind of market, and Binance will list S I think 20th oj January, until then Ftm will remain in FUD.

Sonic / ftm is a joke. Not even faster than Sui or sol . Bungled launch community full of jeets. Andre and Danelle both look like they need to sleep for a week and go on ozempic. Fantom Should have launched sonic a year ago and rebranded away from dumb spooky theme last bull market. Buy Ai agents that’s the narrative nobody cares about L1’s anymore.
