In 2006 i bought a 3010 narrow front,JD, gas at a small estate auction. First tractor i ever bought and sold it few months later in an auction got 3,300 and i been hooked ever since

Old cars and trucks, yes me also. Especially Ford. Spent my life in Ford parts.

Our tracked skid steer is probably our most used piece of equipment we have. We have uses for that thing I never dreamed of. I don't know how we survived without it. We use it as a loader, forklift, boom lift, hay spear, driveway maintenance, posthole digger....you name it. We are currently looking for a stump grinding attachment.

That Gleaner R50 is a rotary combine compared to the cylinder in the throat like a M or L but this R50 has a inline Deutz air cooled diesel engine. GOOOOOOOD MOTOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steiger series 3 had a stand up hood ornament in the middle of the hood.

That Gleaner ran so smooth (once I idled it up). Deutz motors are hyper reliable. I’m going to look into that Steiger info! There aren’t any of Steigers in this part of the country.

That 4755 is also a european reimport. Still a Waterloo built tractor.🚜 The 4040S earlyer in the video is a Mannheim assebeld tractor with parts from Waterloo with a MFWD from ZF and could be had back in 1981.

Has your farm been in the family a long time? Do you grow onions or is the soil to tight? Really enjoy your videos, I have family up in Coweta county near Newnan.

I was in Newnan friday (at Wood-mizer). I am the 4th generation of my family to farm some of the fields. I grow onions on a small scale every few years. I have onion harvesting videos on my channel.

$43K probably wasn't terrible for that skidsteer given what they are going for new right now. Just bought a new cheap skidsteer bucket back in the fall and that was $1400. Been halfway looking for another loader on wheels and I can't seem to find much decent for under $35K, which is too much trade difference for me, going to be cheaper to buy a spare loader the same or a little older than mine than to trade up. The powershift would make that 4230 a fairly rare tractor, but boy is she rough. 3010 is a gas burner, probably going to go pretty cheap. Those Coles look good, but they are missing a bunch of parts (dividers/plate covers/plate holders/plates/sprockets) and those parts and good used plates are getting hard to come by, I hope the seller brings them to the sale before the planters sell. Still got some Cole twin rows left and parts are definitely an issue anymore. That 520 looks like it has been pieced together. Used 3 point is $1200 by itself and I see some wrong/missing parts on it. Old White is pretty much a 1655 Oliver with new sheet metal. Plenty stout enough for the horsepower though, about 75 to 80 on a good day, well balanced tractor. Dupont overhauls look to be out in force at that sale.

I’ve had others in comments on some of my videos say that Powershifts in those older models are rare. Around here syncro-range are uncommon. My grandpa had 3 powershift 4020s and a 4430. (I own one of those 4020s now and my dad owns the 4430) My dad has a Powershift 3020 also. Powershifts seem standard around here. I have a video in editing right now with the final auction price listed on most of the tractors in this video.

@@PatrickShivers In our area this side of the Flint, 20 series had Syncro, 30-40 series were almost all Quad Range. I did buy a 4030 with Syncro years ago. What I know of sold new around here I doubt I have seen a dozen 8 speed Powershifts. Don't know why they are so uncommon but they are. Even the later 50-55 series you just don't see many 15 speeds on the small frames compared to QR. Personally I'd like to have an 8 speed, just some jobs that they would be handy for. I am pretty sure though the high crop tractors in particular though powershift isn't common.

@@johndeere7245 Dad always said the syncro had a little more power than the power shift. My favorite feature on those model tractors is the throttle pedal that gives you one more ounce of power after your column throttle has maxed out.
